4 years since i last applied for an Indian vise, is it still the same process of sending your passport and £30 along with the form you can get from their web site to the Indian High Commission in London?
Have a look here a forum member has put together a very helpful guide.

Good luck!
Thanks!
Pauly 1664, there isn't a phone number for the Longsight VFS office, the only number there is is the premiem rate number on the VFS Global website. If you want to make an appoinment you can do it on the website through the application page.
Yeeeesss!! Since my posting at the end of August,The photo-me booth at my local Asda is now doing 2" x 2" visa photos, £7 for 4 photos , Can use the spare ones for visa next year as i will need a new passport by then.If they don't alter things again!
Can someone tell me if you take the forms to London do you get the Visa on the same day? The answer is probably somewhere but I can't see it. I'm hoping to go to Goa on 2 November but won't know definately until this coming weekend (1st Oct) and am worried i'm leaving it a bit late for Visa. I see that is says post takes about 10 days - is that right? It's not a problem for me to go to London to give all in so thought that would be best? Many thanks,
Hi me and me you can't collect your visa the same day, you need to apply online via VFS and either post your application to Hayes or hand in and collect a few days later at one of the processing centres. At the moment they are only taking around 7 days by post but as the season gets closer it will take longer.
Our local Sainsbury,s photo booth now has the Indian Visa size available
Hi when filling in online visa form where it asks for previous or other names does it mean your maiden name?, because on the old handwritten forms the same question was asked but also seperatley you was asked for your maiden name so this is alittle missleading or am i just plain thick. Thanks denham
