Hi Dave, I would suggest if it is letting you enter with a different expiry date go ahead and then when you have filled in and downloaded your forms, change the expiry date on the form by hand and initial or sign the change and enclose a letter of explanation with your form when you send it off. I am sure there would not be a problem doing this, especially as they will see that the previous visa in your passport has expired!

I'll give them until Monaday to reply. Don't need the passports until 5 weeks on Sunday so I have a bit of time to spare. :think

Just used the online tracking service, and been told my processed documents have been handed over to the Royal Mail, and I should receive tomorrow : Will sleep tonight :hols

Still not mine back and i posted mine 23rd Sept. I have tracked the passport on VFS and it says it was at the Post office and that was yesterday so i thought i should have got it back today as its a SDE .I be awake tomorrow early and if it doesnt arrive i will call the Post office.
Stressed ? Yes !

filled my visas tonight and ready for posting tomorrow afternoon. i hope ive filled them in ok and the postal strikes do not delay them too much. and when we get to next year can someone remind me to get a black pen ready so that we dont have to hunt around the the house for an hour trying to find one :que

Elliebee A text !! I wish . Makes me laugh when they want your mobile and landline number but if you have not done some thing right they never text or call to tell you that.It just get sent back not done.

I received a response to my e mails at 11.20 last night so obviously it's being dealt with in India.Having had the first enquiry about the "passport in process" problem already solved by HTers I was ahead of the game and had sent both my own and my wife's passport details. I was told in response to that e mail that it had been passed to the appropriate department.
I decided to process my application this morning and "bingo" I was in. The application form is pretty simple to fill in as long as you read it properly, and where applicable put NA with out any punctuation or forwards slashes.

Sadly, when I got to adding my wife on the application you'll never guess what ? :duh

Another e mail sent but when that will be sorted we'll see.
Not getting stressed in the least bit..... yet !!!!

The txt was from DX Secure who VFS use when you prepay for their postal return service. They have given anytime between 8am and 6pm so it means I have to wait in all day. Had plans today too, never mind, passports are more important.

The Preacher i got my Visa back today but it took 2 days to get delivered .Probably to do with the Post Office strike .Good luck with yours .

Passports just arrived 11-40am, only trouble they are me my brother and sister inlaws passports just hoping they have sent them mine. just rang sister inlaw to ask, but no answer . Fingers crossed.
