Polly50, as you are getting the same message I'm getting when checking with VFS tracking I'd assume they have processed it -keeping everything crossed for you.
Fizz
Also it's incorrect to say VFS are not using Royal Mail to return passports. The cheapest and easiest way is to use a pre paid recorded delivery envelope which you include with your application and passport so they simply return it in that. No worries about being in to receive it either, you can go down to your local collection office to get it ( remember to take proof of identity as detailed on the form the postman leaves!). cheers Dave
PS Posted mine Saturday and I'm confident I'll get it back this week
time will tell
annx
just checked my receipt under the postcode it has address validated? N
no mention of Fiat Building
Have you looked on the site to see what the status of your application is ?
I posted ours on Saturday, I know it was received on Monday and status is showing application created.
Just wondered what your says
I'm panicking - I didn't notice until I was looking at a copy of the application form I kept here that I've put my O'h's birthday as the 12 of the month and it's the 11th. I got everything else right and wondered if they'd return it because of this.
Our's say exactly the same Dave's ( not my !) Wife.
Maybe they'll overlook my mistake - I wish I was as confident as you that they'll be back by the end of the week.
I don't know what I worry about more - Problem with the visa or our passports getting lost.
I don't think any of you should worry as most of you have visas from previous years in your passports, so they will probably see those and issue your new visa without any problem!!!
Just checked ours on track and trace its says R/M expect to deliver them before the guaranteed time tomorrow YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE hope they are complete with visa..sent them off last wednesday and friday was a holiday for GHANDI..
I think we all worry about the same things each year but for me, I'm usually more concerned about the passport getting lost. If they return your visa application for some reason this can usually be sorted out without too much hassle or extra expense but if the passport goes missing.................loads of hassle/expense and more importantly, the worry of who might have got hold of your passport.
I wish they'd implement a more secure system.
Fizz
Polly50 - I signed in blue ink last year, and was on tenterhooks until they came back, but they were fine.

Mine was posted Thursday, signed for Friday, and now shows as handed to Royal mail. I'm now worried that that seems too quick!!
