No problems at all they came back after ten days. It was never queried.

and to avoid refusal, I printed the email and added it to the items I posted, and wrote on the checklist that I had enclosed it and why.

Is there still a section asking for referees in India? 5 years ago I put the rep and the British Embassy, recently, I've just put N/A and its gone ok. Any change on that this year ??>

Yeah I'm glad it's out of the way with - I also made a mistake - put a wrong digit in my passport No.

It was too late to modify my application as it was paid for but I managed to download the pdf again, edit it & now my application form is now in line with my passport - I've emailed them to explain that the payment/receipt shows the incorrect passport number

Fingers crossed they're understanding
