Mobile networks in Kos

What mobile networks is there in Kos, as I am on Orange in the U.K and is it cheap to phone home?. as last time I went to Kos it took me ages to get through to the U.K. from there as I was told that they are only so many phone lines out of Kos..

Can't speak for Kos but I'd think it's similar to Rhodes. I use my Orange phone from Rhodes, it's not cheap but never have any problems getting through. Depending on which area I'm in it changes supplier, sometimes Cosmote,other times Telestet.
we were in kos last october and had no trouble phoning home, the network was cosmote and i am on o2 the rate is 99p per min to uk or 49p per text message, the other networks are TIM(STETHELLAS) and vodafone

Been to Kos late May early June. Weather was good with most days around 23-25 or higher. Had a thunderstorm once, but that also happened in Rhodes and Zante at same time of year.
Nights can sometimes feel cool, and have known as low as 11-12 degrees, also slightly more breeze at night for some reason. Never ever felt cold at night though.
It is a good time to go if you don't like it to hot.

Just got booked up for next summer in Kos (June22),just realised the World Cups going to be on whilst were there

Not yet but we will definatley be there for it...we are always out there for the main tournaments...
Just about to set off to Kos for 2 weeks.

where are you planning on staying?
Try a Greek night,the one myself and the wife went to was up on the mountainside outside Kos town.Plenty of food and wine and audience participation.Good fun.
Take a trip to the island of Nysaros and wander around in the volcano. Worth it just for the experience of having done it, plus Mandraki town on Nysaros is quite a nice place to pass a couple of hours.
I enjoyed a trip up to Zia. It is very quaint with lots of interesting shops and a sunset to die for.
Booked to go to Kos aqua beah club this year for next year, been to kos in Kardamena twice before but never with kids any advice on what trips to book? been toBubble beach but want to go somewhere else. Is there any dinner shows I love them ???

Hi, I noticed a message saying that Jackie was going to stay in the Polina apartments in Kos Town. I am going there tomorrow and would be really grateful if anyone could tell me what to expect before I go. Thanks
Youngest daughter is going out on the 10th August (1st holiday with friends) can anyone tell me if there are plenty of ATMs in Kardmena as we are unsure about letting her loose with cash. She is staying at the Amethyst apartments (so she has told me!) does anyone have any infor on these, I have checked the hotel reviews but no joy on there. Thanks.
