Just wondering if anyone can help me! Me and my partner are very close to booking a fortnight in margarita for the latter half of september. However i want to thoroughly check out weather information first! I have read in a few places that Margarita is south of the hurricane belt, therefore missing the worst. Is this definitly true? And how about rainfall??
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks x

Go to the trip planner section and type in Porlamar and pick the dates you will be there. This will then show you the probability of rain and the average temperature etc...
Great site Stacey, thank you
We're for Dunes Resort on 7th July. We originally booked Laguna Mar but switched due to the building work.Excitement is building
All three hotels on the eclipse website look lovely, and they have availability for the dates i want which is great!
Thanks for your advice......weather doesnt look to bad for september. Still can't make up our minds though! No doubt we'll decide to go for it just as the last room is taken!
hello, if you go to margarita island don`t miss the ECO-SAFARI TOUR first choice has that tour the best tour of all because only them can take you to the tallest point of the island (960mts)called Las Antenas, also they going to take you to the other side of the island(macanao) to see the Yellow shouldered parrot inside the national park, they will give you a B.B.Q lunch at 500 mts over the level of the sea ,and at the end they`ll take you to a ranch where you`ll see plantation of sugar cane, basil, cactus, mangos,,is a full day tour you`ll see almost the whole island don`t miss it is the best way to know margarita island. sorry about my english but I speak spanish.
