Well thats it again for another year went so quick as usual but also a blast x

So the holiday started on 25 July and what a start! I had sickness and the runs and felt like absolute s**t!! Slept the whole time on the plane so at least the flight went quick! well that was when we eventually took off! flight was as 12:20 from birmingham, all got boarded well on time thought "ace get away quick" - but oh no!! stewardess kept saying that plane was refuelling so had to sit there with seat belts unfastened but then the captain came over and said she was waiting for the first officer who was stuck on the motorway and we would be delayed for an hour!!!!! 30 minutes later he came on to very loud claps and cheers so hope he was suitably embarassed!! but in the end we were only 30 minutes late the other end so didn't turn out too bad in the end!

so anyway! had minibus transfer which was good and they didn't stop so got to apartment at 22:00. Stayed at T&G Apartments. These are situated just off main Marmaris/Icmeler road by Kibele Apartments (near to Atlantis Waterpark) so very good location. The room was excellent - we had room 106 on ground floor and had view of pool and road. was very quiet except for the most annoying cricket i have ever heard in my life - i swear if we'd had found it, it would have been the size of a rat

Found the prices of meals had gone up slightly but not horrendously as some reports suggested before we went. You got what you paid for at the end of the day - you could get a 3 course menu for 14.5 YTL (£6.50) or pay for 37 YTL (£16) for a beast of a steak at Natalies!

Paul had that steak, a 34oz T-Bone!! Promised you all the pic didn't i!! well here it is

Natalies was by far the best meal though. The worst, if you could say that was smileys i thought, was ok but a bit ropey but expected for the 14.5 YTL price tag! tasty bites prices have gone up though, 10YTL (£4.30) for a large kebab

Did the lazy day boat trip and also jeep safari for the first time. Oh that day was a blast and a half!! Face ached at the end of the day because of laughing so much! Got absolutely drenched from beginning to end! Totally recommended for anyone to go on

Weather was fab between 42-48 for the whole time.

For those who know Basil went to his "new bar" but rather disappointly it turned out just to be a restaurant with no entertainment or anything so we didn't go there much.

Frequented the Aussie bar rather alot lol! Apologies to anybody who was in there and had to listen to Alisha singing same songs every night lol!! We were paying 4YTL (£1.66) for a bottle of Efes. Local spirits were 6YTL (£2.72) and cocktails were 10YTL (£4.30). Between 8-10pm it was BOGOF on local spirits and cocktails so needless to say we took plenty of advantage lol!!

The exchange rate went down a bit whilst we were there. Started off getting 2.35 and went down to 2.20 (2.16 in exchange bureaux). Would seriously say to anyonek, don't bother going to exchange bureaux - they rip people off, you get low rate and no good. Majority of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars all change money and they give you better rate.

Bought lots of goodies! Victoria Beckham jeans £15, 3 radley handbags for £20, chanel handbag for £10 - still lots of bargains to be found

Think thats about it! Only to say roll on 31 July 2009 - going back to Kocer Club!!!!
