Is there any question you cannot answer?!

Saturdays lottery numbers, I never know the answer to that one! There's plenty I can't answer. It's easy when I have all the information on a screen in front of me. All the information is out there, its just a question of knowing where to look.

Happy holidays,

Hi all, first post on this forum and very informative it is to.

A quick question to kick off, directed to all, but I'm sure Darren may have an answer!

Travelling to Cancun with MT on 6th June for 2 weeks flight nos are MYT031 outward and MYT032 return. Is it possible to know if it will be an the Airbus or Boeing at this stage?

I understand the Boeing seating layout is 2-4-2 throughout and the Airbus is 3-3-3 except the last 6 rows which is 2-4-2. If it's the airbus is it posibble to arrive early at checking in an ask for seats on the last 6 rows?

Thanks.....

demon125,

I can't predict what they will be using in June, but its not often they change types during the season. You'll be pleased to know MYT031/2 is being opperated with an Airbus A330-243 at the moment so chances are, thats what will be opperating your flights. G-MDBD opperated the flight on 10/05/07. Nearly there with the seating on the A332's, the last 8 rows are 2-3-2 due to the fuselarge narrowing at that point. Click here for the seating plan.

Have a great time,

Thanks for that Darren. Can't seem to get that Danish site to work, but no worries I've looked at other plans so I know the score now.

The only thing no is what do you rate my chances of getting the last rows on the plane? If I rock up early and ask for the back seats would they give them me? I know you don't have a crystal ball, but there's no harm in asking is there

Also good to know that the airbus is genarally a smooth ride, I hate turbulence :yuck

demon125,

It's working for me :hmmm It is a little slow at times though. If you get to check-in nice and early, you can only ask for seats towards the back. If they're available then I don't see why they won't give them to you. you can only ask like you say. I don't know if this is correct or not, but the wings on the Airbus are a lot less stiff than on Boeings. There's miles of wing flex in them so they alost act like suspension and give a smooth ride. Very impressive and of course British built :tup You can see the degree of flex in this photo and even better, a view from the inside of that aircraft looking over the wing: Take off TCX A332 MAN-HOG March 2004 and Landing TCXA332 MAN-HOG March 2003.

Have a great time,

We are flying out from Manchester on Wednesday 223rd to Las Vegas. Will it be the Airbus A330?

Do you have any information about how often this flight has been delayed for any reason. Just hoping we get there sooner rather than later because I'm so looking forward to it.

TIA

pebbles,

MAN- LAS is normally an A332 because of their superior range. Delays do happen from time to time like with all other airlines, but they normally leave on schedule.

I booked what I thought were excellent flights from Airtours from Glasgow to Dalaman for July of this year. I booked them back in October 2006 and basically the flights left Glasgow in the early hours of Friday 6th July 2007 and returned in the afternoon of Friday 20th July. I have just received a call saying the flights have been changed and now leaving Glasgow at 18.30pm on the Friday night, returning at 02.25am on the Saturday morning of the 21st July. To say I am annoyed would be an understatement. Is there anything I can do regarding compensation or are the airlines at liberty to do this whenever they like? ( I have a nine year old daughter and that is why the original flight times were so good). Changing the dates are not an option as I have booked the accomodation seperately so this is all arranged.

bigbunz,

Your flight is currently being serviced with an Airbus A330-243. Have a look at my previous post for photos. A seating plan is available here. These aircraft are fitted with seat back IFE throughout.

Hi Dazbo
Can you tell me what type of plane will be used to fly to Puerto Plata at 11am on 06 June 2007. The flight numbers are MYT37/38. I have seats in Premiair Gold and would like to know the seat configuration. :D
