Yes New Years Eve is very good.I walked home with my wife and son about 2.30 in the morning, I said no fireworks this year then. She said you missed them I was trying to sing and dance on the stage at the soul suite.
Also in Tenerife for new year, went to a chinese for a meal then to the
bars by la vista beach, at midnight sat on the sun loungers on the beach
and watched all the fireworks from various directions, had a great time
and the atmosphere was very good, lots of people about.
First time to tenerife, but not the last, will definately go back for new year.

I was working but we had a wail of a time down the Parque de la Paz strip.................................
I think I had a good time, problem is I cant remember!!
Arrived boxing day weather great all week spent new yr eve on front in los cristianos fire works brilliant stayed at oasis mango good apartments excellent holiday
yes New year was fantastic, and we are going to do it again this year, only take a drink with us because we were struggling to get a drink anywhere near the front and that was at 11.30pm. As mentioned a fantastic display, which you could have seen from almost anywhere..Superb.
We were in the Irish Times on the front in LC no probs getting drinks. Watched the fireworks on their balcony..great view. didnt leave till about 3.30am short walk home and didnt surface again till about 5pm.
New Years Eve - do the bars jump on the bandwagon like they do in the UK and charge an entrance fee for New Years Eve - or do you need tickets? Am hoping to go to Yates for the evening but wondered if there was anything I should plan beforehand!
been about 3 years since ive been for New Year (have been 5 times prior and am making a return this year) but i have never paid entrance fee to any of the bars, from Dubliner, to Starcos area, to veronicas - just same as normal
Oh good - have been a few times before but that was always as part of a couple and we tended to stay in hotels where there was entertainment! Not any more though! Looking forward to a good single girls new year!! Just got back on Sunday and can't wait to go again!
Is it worth going at new year?
I have heard alot about the fireworks, where is the best to see them?
I would like a jacuzzi on the balcony, as I love just sitting in one listening to the sea, with a glass of wine, while the kids are asleep.
What is the weather like?
SO any help is appreciate.
THanks
Neil
