Zonda,
It very much depends on the airline you fly with. Most charters seat passengers with meals towards the front of the aircraft and those who haven't at the rear and have a passenger manifest for those who've booked/paid for a meal and those who haven't. Scheduled and sub-charter flights are slightly different.

Hi there can antone tell me if the onur flight seats are threes and twos or threes and threes. looking at the cockpit shot it looks like they are in fives? maybe its my eyesight!!
It depends on the aircraft type you are on. OHY use Airbus A321-200's (3-3) from smaller airports and A300B4-600R's (3-3-3) from the larger airports. They also use MD-80's (2-3), but thats quite rare. If you can give me your flight numbers or let me know where you are travelling from/to, I'll check for you.
Darren
Thanks Darren we are flying from Exeter to Dalaman.
thanks for the info re the aircraft we are likely to have, it was the seat configuration I was interested in. 3 and 3, would be great for us as 6 in our party.
Checked our flight from Cardiff this morning and again only 1/2 an hour late so fingers crossed. 2 weeks to go though!!!
Cheers
Shar

flying out on thurs from birmingham to dalaman can you tell m what the seat configuration will be, thanks
karen
I'm not sure what your flight numbers are (OHY953/2?), but aircraft will be an Airbus A321-200 which are configured 3-3, same as in the photo above.
Have a great time,
Darren
Have you got a flight number so I can check? It's generally an Airbus A321-200 but I know they sometimes send a larger A300B4-605R during school hols.
Darren
hi
ellie_meg,
thanks for that info
hope someone can help me - I have today called H4U to book my partners wakeboard on our Onur Air flight to Dalaman on 23rd august to be told that carraige is at the discretion of the airline on the day and that it will be charged at £5 per kilogram!!! (probably weighs about 25KG!). We have previously taken it several times with thomson, first choice etc and just paid about £30 for a return flight.
H4U were most unhelpful and even refused to give me Onur Airs telephone number "they are turkish and won't help you!!!"
My question therefore is has anyone taken sports equipment via Onur air and if so how did you do it???
Thanks for your help
Zoe
Hi darren thanks for that info it suits our party size so we are all happy.
This probably won't be much use to you, but I agree with H4U with regards to contacting Onur Air. I tried booking sports equipment last September, diving gear in my case and didn't get anywhere with them. I just had to grin and bear it and not take the equipment just in case I got stung for a huge bill at checkin. It's a downside of travelling with this airline, amungst other things.
Darren
Thanks for the info ...
I agree that it is too much to take a chance on check in so my other 1/2 will probably have to do without
thanks again

Hi Darren - Can you tell me what aircraft Onur air use from Glasgow to Bodrum - Sunday flight ( code 3616OHY). Have never flown with them before as prefer to use British carrier but unfortunately I am having problem getting flight with british carrrier. I am aware of previous bans and other instances involving this airline and do wonder if they do follow the same H&S rules as we do. I am also concerned re the maintenance of their fleet, especially some of the older planes. Thanks for any info you can give me.
There aren't any logs for a sunday flight so I can't be exact. It'll be an Airbus A321-200 or A300B4-605R, they are used during the weekday flights. If you read my trip report which is linked on the previous pages, you can read my opinions about this airline.
Darren
can you give info on flights a yr in advance
our flight is 6th july 08, ema -dal ohy-2240 and return
20th july ohy 0445
what plane will it be and how big (if you have info that is )
cheers pam xx
It's a little early to be 100% sure. However, they normally use Airbus A321-200's out of regional airports. Aircraft information and a cabin shot are provided over the last couple of pages.
Darren
thanks darren
