Can anyone tell me what type of plane we will be on on 30 September, with Onur Air, going to Dalaman from Glasgow please? Also does anyone have a seating plan for this aircraft.
We will be returning on the 7th of October too, so again, will it be the same aircraft?
Thanks in advance,
Kerry
It'll be the same aircraft type both ways. There are several fligths per week from GLA - DLM with the same flight number; OHY436/5. This appears to be the aircraft line up:
Tues: Airbus A321-200
Sat: Airbus A321-200
Sun: Airbus A300B4-605R
You are on the sunday flight so chances are, it'll be an A300B4-605R. For further information, have a read of my flight reviews:
Onur Air flights OHY380/379 Manchester - Dalaman - Manchester, September 2006.
Darren
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
hi i've flown with onur air the last 2 years (exeter to dalaman) and both times its been an hour late both ways , although i cant fault the actual flight , flying with them again on the 16th july so heres hoping
Compared to Thompsons, first choice etc .....how cramped are the seats or are they about the same......one of our party is a bit on the large side.
How cheap is it to but duty free on board or is it still cheaper to buy a bottle of Vodka/Whiskey in the airport before we fly.
Will you be able to get more than one mixer per person or is it only 1 free per person.
Is there still no inflight entertainment
Seat pitch depends on the aircraft type. If you have a flight number I'll check for you. The A321's are about the same as the TOM aircraft (again, depending on which TOM aircraft you have flown on, presumably the 757-200?). The A300B4's are a little roomier with 30" seat pitch.
Duty free was very cheap last time I travelled with OHY, cigarettes anyway. It was cheaper than the airport. There's no IFE onboard the aircraft and non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary so as many as you want.
Darren
My flight number is OHY2474
Hope that we get a better aircraft but I somehow doubt it from Cardiff
ACARS is showing OHY2474 is currently being serviced by an A300B4. Refer to my post to Scooby-biatch above and my flight review for more info.
Darren
Thanks so much for your help
We flew with Onur Air from Manchester to Dalaman in May and they were fine. Food was basic but enough to get you through the flight. Cabin Crew were friendly and helpful, I would have no problem flying with them again
I expect they are much the same as any other european airline,BMI,My travel, First choice etc etc
My only original concern really was that some people had said there was a lack of leg room but now I think it's probably very similar to other airlines, its not something that would normally bother me just that we are travelling with friends and the chap is about 18st and a big lad if you know what I mean....I was worried for him really as he'd said he had been on a flight with one airline and he couldn't get the tray down to eat his meal.
My other concern was someone had said the trolley dolleys only came round once with drinks in the 4 hour flight but I've been assured now that you can have as much or little as you want.
Thank you to everyone that has replied to me
Edinburgh flight 1 hour and 40 mins late tonight, not bad given the current situation.
Funny how it is not mentioned on the BAA website but it is on the Flights Charter website as mentioned by a previous poster.
As promised, here's a cabin shot of an Onur Air A321-200. My mums outbound flight from Liverpool to Dalaman was 20 minutes late and her return flight this morning was 19 minutes early! She was more impressed with OHY on this occasion than the last time she flew with them. See my trip report.
So are the meals stopped on Onur air now? as i just got my invoice and i have been charged for them?
i think they are refering to next year ,, ive got my tickets for next week but havnt looked to see if meals are on
I had my tickets yesterday and I wondered if you could check what aircraft we are likely to be travelling on from Cardiff to Dalaman please if you have time:D
OHY440 outbound and OHY439 return.
The flight this week left only half an hour late which by the previous weeks I have checked is fantastic, so fingers crossed. I never did get a reply from OnurAir or First Choice or Cardiff Airport mind, but I suppose thats to be expected. Cheers Darren. Just been on your trip report, wow photos are fab.
Scoobybiatch-my tickets show the meals box as ticked for July 23rd?
Cheers
Shar

Onur Air are definately offering complimentory meals on flights for this season. At the moment, main meals consist of a piece of chicken roll served on a letuice leaf with chease and olives followed by a piece of cake.
Bullseye,
As a tip though, we've never paid for meals when we use any airlines as if you don't like what they serve it's a waste so we've always catered for ourselves and guess what? we are always given the in flight meals anyway.
Seriously, when was the last time anyone was asked if they'd paid for the meal?
