Just out of interest, what was the transfer time from the airport?
Never know whether to believe the brochure!!!

In total about 45 minutes. We travelled in a large coach to a "rough and ready bus park" in Bodrum itself and transferred to a small mini-bus. From Bodrum it took about 15 minutes, there was only ourselves and one other couple on the bus and we were the first drop off.

We used the hotel bus which you have to book in advance. We booked the 10.30 departure and then made our own way back. The bus station is easy to find and it leaves you free to come back when you want to.

ann2, did you book directly with the hotel for your accomodation and your transfer ? how did you know where to go when you got off plane at bodrum airport ?? was someonewaiting with a board with your name on it ? thanks

Another question!! What is the mosquito situation at this hotel? Wondering whetherto pack my mossie machine and spray or not?!

I only packed my Jungle spray and used it a couple of times, I wouldn't bother with your mozzie machine there certainly weren't any in the hotel itself.

Hi thanks for all this valuable info about the ADR. We fly out from Glasgow for 7 nights on 26 August.
Are there plenty of sun beds available by the pool area?
We are two adults and have upgraded with Portland for a seaview, can anyone recommend the best floor to be on. We will email the hotel beforehand with our request.

We had a sea-view on the second floor corner just under the Starlight bar and the view was pretty breathtaking!,Plus being 2 floors up we always had a nice breeze from the sea itself,Although we never requested it we would certainly have paid a little extra for the view.......We were just lucky they gave us one!

Yes it was 2319 and I think any of the 19's will give you the biggest balcony and fantastic view!!

When I booked the website said there was a gym, there is no mention of it now, nor on the P ortland site. It is on the T homson site. Eldest is beginning to have panic attack as she loves her exercise. Anyone know if it is still there?

Yes the gym is still there, although I never used it, it looked pretty okay.
Lucky you going soon, I wish I was still there now!

Lally - gym definitely there - used it once during my stay in June. Situated next to indoor pool - which was very cold!!!!

Hi does anyone know if there is internet access in the rooms at the Aegean Dream Resort,
We dont want to take the laptop if there is no access in our bedroom.

There is no internet access in the actual rooms but they do have 4 or maybe 5 computers down in the basement that you can use free of charge.

Enjoy it lally, I look forward to reading your review when you get back. Remember it is HOT, HOT, HOT !!
