I haven't yet got as far as pricing up a holiday with them. If they're that much more expensive I don't see them selling many holidays :?

Longwoods price for 2 weeks at the end of November is £809 and thats not adding on the airport suppliment from Manchester.First Choice price was £583.They are updating their website at present so will check again as soon as its on-line.

THIS is Samy, you may remember him from your stay at the Conrad last year

Pippy, you are amazing! :P

I think we should think we should start a new thread called 'Challenge Pippy' - everyone comes up with a question and you have to find a picture or link to it.......lol,

Seriously though Pippy you have helped so many people on this site. Thanks, Caro

Many Thanks

Thank you Caro! :kiss

I only used the main buffet restaurant. I believe ALTOMAN (who's stayed at the Conrad twice I think) used more than one restaurant during their most recent stay so you could perhaps send him a PM  If not, the reps will tell you all you need to know at the welcome meeting.

Hi does any one know out of this list what restaurants are included in the all inclusive package?

Terrace Cafe for breakfast, dinner buffet and all-day dining.

Il Pozzo serving Italian and international cuisine.

Sinai Fish & Co for fresh seafood.(espically this restaurant)

Pharoahs Garden casual international buffet-style.

The Palms pool bar and grill.

Cabana Beach Bar for all-day waterside refreshment.

Sheikh's Place outdoor bar.

Bellaire Lounge lobby lounge.

Billiards Bar.

Hi there :) i cant say if all you list are AI but i do know the Sinai Fish and Italian is not. I ate at the Sinai beach restaurant and the food was lovely and very cheap. I also ate in the Italian but was not so impressed.
Interestingly though i did find the room service food was excellent, i didnt use it a lot but after a bout of tummy upset last year i found it invaluable and good value(just for your information should you need it)
The snack food in the pool area is much improved and very good.
Hope this helps a little

Sent you a pm about thee restaurants. I felt that Pharoes garden was the better of the 2 main restaurants.
the snack bar at the pool provided a nice little lunch. usually hot dog type sandwiches which filled you up enough.

Hi, few little questions about the conrad!

How is the air conditioning controlled in the room is it like many other hotels i have stayed in where you can put a cash card in the slot and it will keep the electric going?

Do all the rooms have shower?

Is the shuttle bus to naama bay free or is there a charge?

Can you have alcohol or soft drinks with your dinner with A.I package?

Pool/Beach towels are provided arent they?

Is Toast avaliable to have in the mornings as i cant go 2 weeks without having my morning marmite on toast yum yum!

little bit confused about the mini bar situation in the rooms of the hotel.

Is the mini bar just the normal fridge in the room? What do you get in the mini car?

I have read some reviews that people were getting charged for items in the mini bar that they hadnt even used?

Do you get daily water put in the fridge/mini bar that you can use without getting charged for it?

If you go to the pool bar throughout the day and ask for water does it come bottle? if so you could stock up throughout the day and take it bk to your room.

Hope some one can put a clear picture in my head about the min bar/fridge..

Many Thanks

ok here goes :-
the air-con is controlled by putting the card in the slot
all rooms have a shower
you have to pay for the shuttle bus - it is around £5 return
pool towels are included
you can get alcohol and soft drinks with meals
ask for bottles of water with your meals to take away. you can refill them from the water coolers at the pool and beach bars
the mini-bar is in the fridge. we had the same problem as pippy, being charged for items we had not used, despite repeatedly asking for the fridge to be emptied but got the charges waived.

Think this covers everything. Anything else please drop me a pm and I will help you the best I can

The aircon in my room remained on unless I turned it off at the control on the wall. The aircon in the girl's room needed something in the slot! Doesn't help you really!

Do all the rooms have shower?

Our rooms had shower and bath. As far as I know all rooms have a shower.

Is the shuttle bus to naama bay free or is there a charge?

No, it costs about £1 each way, bookable at reception.

Can you have alcohol or soft drinks with your dinner with A.I package?

Yes and yes.

Pool/Beach towels are provided arent they?

Yes.

Is Toast avaliable to have in the mornings as i cant go 2 weeks without having my morning marmite on toast yum yum!

Yes, plenty of bread and a toaster.

Is the mini bar just the normal fridge in the room? What do you get in the mini car?

Yes, it's a fridge. The contents include confectionery, water, alcoholic and soft drinks all at inflated prices. Take my advice and get it emptied asap to avoid being wrongly charged for items you've not consumed.

I have read some reviews that people were getting charged for items in the mini bar that they hadnt even used?

Correct. Happened to many other guests too. We didn't actually have to pay once we'd made it clear we hadn't consumed the items they were attempting to charge us for (as explained in my review).

Do you get daily water put in the fridge/mini bar that you can use without getting charged for it?

Not in our case, no. Nothing was consumed and nothing was replaced but they did try to charge us.

If you go to the pool bar throughout the day and ask for water does it come bottle? if so you could stock up throughout the day and take it bk to your room.

No, it's from a water cooler, same as from the beach bars. You stock up on bottled water at each meal time. We were given as many as we asked for and more!

Hope some one can put a clear picture in my head about the min bar/fridge..

I've made it clear in several posts and in my review. I can only say it again, have the mini bar emptied. If you decide not to do that and wish to consume items, WRITE DOWN every single item and insist on paying for it on a daily basis!

Pippy :D
P.S An acknowledgement of previous replies would be good

See my kettle in THIS photo? The mini-bar (fridge  ) is behind that door under the kettle. I assume it's in the same place in all the rooms........not sure about the brand new rooms though.
