Hello Daz its me again what plane are we on flight No.MYT67 from gatwick to Goa.march 15th.

At present, they are using their Boeing 767-31K's on the MYT067/8 since the A332's are out on Hajj lease. They return at the end of the month so are likely to be deployed on long haul routes. Whether Goa will be one of them, I don't know as yet (doubtful) but they are also being repainted / refurbished so we'll have to see. If you remind me closer to the time, I'll double check.

HI, I am travelling to Punta Cana from Gatwick on 10th Jan 08, I understand the flight goes via Manchester (so a long flight), and returning a week later. Flight numbers are MYT045 / MYT046...Do you know what aircraft will be uised for these flights? I have never flown with MyTravel before but with Thomson several times! Thanks...

It's about time the A332's were back, it's getting a bit repetative with them only have the 763's on long hauls at the moment!! It's about 9 hrs 20 mins from MAN, probably an hour to turn around and say an hour from LGW so expect to be on the aircraft about 11.5 hours all together. Could be worse!

i am flying to punta cana on the 17th January 2008 from manchester flight number myt45 flight back is myt46. do you know what aircrafts they will be using as i called my travel direct and they didnt seem to have a clue! also if u go over the 20kg by a small amount are the charges quite hefty?

You're flying out on the flight that is bringing taglhr back, see my previous post!! These are photo's of the aircraft; Boeing 767-31K, G-SJMC & G_DAJC
If you go over by 1 or 2 kg, you can generally get away with it and they won't charge you (don't blame me if they do though!). If you are well over and they do charge, excess baggage is charged at £6 per kilo.

I don't know when the A332's will be back in passenger service I'm afraid. As soon as I hear anything, I'll let people know. The Hajj is coming to an end so the lease with Garuda Indoneasia will probably terminate toward the end of January. Once they are back in the UK, they are being repainted and refurbished at some point before May for integration in to Thomas Cook Group and the promise of more cabin space. It'll be sad to see the bright colours of MYT disapear, the TCX livery is boring by comparisson.

Does anyone know what the seat configuration would likely to be? Because when went to Cuba in April last year I had to sit behind my partner because the plane was 2-3-2. Any tips on how to get seats together would be much appreciated.

Your flights shouldn't change, and should be confirmed when you receive your tickets. There are plans to refurbish the economy cabin on the aircraft (Airbus A330-243) to increase the seat pitch from 30" - 33", but the premium cabin will be unchanged (35" configured 2-3-2). For a seating plan click here. Best thing to do is turn up at the airport nice and early and request seats together.
