Anyone planning to visit Benidorm specifically for the marathon or half-marathon in November may like to contact the organisers for verification, as it seems that this year's events have been cancelled.
Sorry David, but having seen pictures of someone climbing up there, i'm afraid these days a Whisky on the Rocks is more appealing than a Taggy on the Rocks!
hi just like to say i saw this marathon about 3 years ago and on the tv you dont get the impression of how fast these guys/girls run .when you want to cross the road when the event is on you have to look twice before you cross , total respect to marathon runners
What a shame. The other week Benidorm Council wanted to promote more Sports Events in the City.Maybe there wasn't the interest.Oh well that's Benidorm for you!!
Last week's Benidorm Marathon was also cancelled, due to the storms and fires which affected parts of the Costa Blanca. Hundreds of council staff who were due to be involved in the event had to be urgently redeployed to other more pressing duties in surrounding areas.
