Hi ladies, hows everyone going this week? Ill admit i had 3 chocolate bars last week [lead up to that time of the month for me] but weighed in to day as Wednesdays are the official day for me and i happy to say that i have lost 4lb's this week!! I am also now 1lb pass what i hoped to be for my holiday and 13lb's away from my ultimate goal weight. I havent been thie weight for over 3 years!!!

Made the SW quiche for our tasting last night used CC this time and although it was a bit 'runny' it all got eaten.

Irene, well done on losing 1/2 lb, don't forget all the 1/2lbs all count in the end!! I maintained and lost/put on 1/2lb for weeks, so know how you feel, but got there in the end.... and so will you.! I'm finding it rather difficult to stay at target, it's much harder than I thought it would be!!! The temptation to have any amount of syns is overwhelming..... I have put on 1lb in 2 weeks already. !!
I have decided to carry on with the food plan and be strict, so that when I go on holiday a week on Tuesday I will be able to cheat a little. Then I will get back into it when I come back.
I tried on last summers clothes over the weekend and was surprised how much better I looked in them than last year!! Some were even much too big!!! So that has spurred me on.
Well done everyone, keep at it and good luck everyone.

I think I will have more red days as I seem to lose more weight eating protein than I do having loads of carbohydrates.
Well done Mainy, Sydney and Irene. The weight is going in the right direction so all good.
I didnt get weighed this week, its my "off" week but have been doing really well (except for the weekend when I more than doubled my daily syns) but been on track before and ever since so hopefully will have a good result next week regardless.
I agree with you Sydney, I do much better when having more red days than green. I do try to have at least one green day per week though as one of my favourite meals is pasta mixed with a low fat pesto sauce (sainsbury or asda do really nice ones and they are only about 3 syns for a tablespoon) and topped with 28g of grated cheese ("a" box). Absolutely delicious - yum

Well have a really good week all. Will check in from time to time but will post on Tuesday next week with any news - hopefully good

Im the same as you Irene - i only lost half a pound this week. I would say i tried 50% this week, but i could feel i hadnt lost much.
Been trying to reach my stone mark for 3 weeks now! Seems so hard! Only half a pound to go! Was gutted i didnt lose my pound this week!!!!!

I maintained on wed

I am having a mixed grill for tea tonight. Steak,Lamb,chicken and Joe's sausage with mushrooms and fried egg and i am having jacket spud with it. ( 1 B ) I had the same tea last night but with gammon too but there is none left for tonight.

How is everyone doing

I have been good all this week but have no syns left now so cant wait for wed to get them back. While i am on the subject of syns does anyone know who make pom-bear crisps. I cant find them on syns online and when i put it in the calculator it comes up as 1 syn per pack that cant be right surely

Any ideas anyone?

well sadly due to lack of funds I can't afford to go to a slimming club as i'm saving my holiday spends up
Anyway what I have been doing is cutting calorie intake to 1500 a day and walking 4 mile every other day and I must say this is working for me as I have lost 9lbs in 3 weeks
so I have another 2 stone to go

hopefully I will try and get to my target weight by september


I don't blame you for stopping going to the class Lindsay, just do your best at home and enjoy your pregnancy

thanks for your reply I wouldn't worry too much about the two meals you had out at the weekend
as I forgot to mention that in the 3 weeks that I have been doing this every saturday is my treat day and I have always had a take out (chinese) and it's still working for me so hopefully I can keep it up

Ive had a "pick at" week this week - picking at this and picking at that. It didnt help when my mum offered me a biscuit. One of those digestive ones with strawberry bits and a yoghurt topping - they were yummy which meant that when we went shopping on the weekend, a packet fell into my shopping trolley (I really dont know how it happened

Weigh in tonight and im not holding my breath for a positive result. Oh well, ive had a couple of good weeks so I cant be too down about it.

I'm going on my hols on the 8th september and i'm hoping I will be at my target weight for then
Must be honest I had a chocolate rocky bar today with my cup of tea and i'm starting to regret it now
ah well I will still stick to my 1500 calorie intake and see how it works out long term

Two good things today. Brought myself a new pair of jeans in a size 12. I haven't been that size since I got married 7 years ago. We also booked our holiday. Only a week away this time but back to Cala Millor where we stayed last year. Going in June so would love to reach that target by then. Achievable so fingers crossed.
