I hope you had a great easter and you are going to be very busy this summer.How far is it from Sensatori to your Taverna and what is the name of it as many people I am sure would like to come and thank you and your husband for your input and by you a drink.

Hi Everyone
Well it is easter sunday here today, And for the past 4/5 weeks the weather has been very hot & sunny.
Would you believe today we have BLACK SKYS and it is raining as if it has never rained before. So now instead of cooking our lamb on barbecues outside in the sunshine we are going to be cooking in our shop.
But we are not going to let the weather spoil our day. We will still eat & drink to much and have a great day with our family & friends.
So even here in Crete we can not reley on the weather.(And I bet the sun is back shinning as bright as ever tomorrow)
And a wee word on your hotel it looks as if it is all ready. The tavernas & shops are all open here in Analipsi. There is alot of tourist here just now it is good to see our wee village alive again for the summer.
Giorgos & I only have 4 days left till we open on friday. But I will try to check in with you all now & again over the summer.
We both wish you all a great holiday when you come to CRETE.

So you arrive at the hotel on the 1st, My sister is arriveing there on the same day so I will be there to meet her. So we will stay and have a few drinks with her and her husband they should be at the hotel about 10pm. I will be wearing a short denim jacket (my husband will have a black jacket on he thinks it is still cold thats the greek in him)ha.ha. So if you see us please come over and introduce yourself to me it would be great to meet the people I been speaking to on this forum.

Hi anna.gr........it would really be appreciated if your sister (or you of course) has any feedback on the Sensatori. There have been mixed reports on tripadvisor so as many opinions as possible would be great. Hope you are all having a great time whatever

Hi Everyone
I have to say when my sister was at the hotel last week, there was a few teething problems the first 3 or 4 days. But most people there said the problems were not bad enough to spoil thier stay there. It is always the same with any new venture you always have a problem or 2 when you first start.
My sister said by the time she left on thursday the teething problems had been sorted out. She enjoyed the hotel very much and said all the staff were very kind & helpfull & would recomend it to everyone.
The bedrooms are out of this world all home comforts the biggest bed I have ever seen.
She said the food was of a high standard also a good choice for everyone.
She says she will be back there she enjoyed the hotel very much.

Anna - Thank you so much for posting your sister's comments - we go on Thursday this week and I have to be honest and say since the reviews appeared on Trip Advisor a couple of days ago, I have been dreading it (even tried to persuade Thomson to let me change accommodation yesterday but they were having none of it!)

I was most concerned about safety issues (food/pool surface etc) as we are taking our three year old daughter and obviously don't want her to be ill/get hurt in any way.

I am feeling a little more optomistic and hope that upon our return can post some positive comments.
