Well, i wasn't away abroad, buy my caravan only has a shower, so i will look forward to a nice bath tonight

my sofa to curl up on after a long day and my own bed.
My cats and my bed.
As I never get time to get near the net. yours truly......holiday truths

I miss my computer and my tv 
Absolutely nothing - but by the end of a fortnight I'm looking forward to seeing my 2 sons
holiday truths and after a week or so Chocolate 
Cornflakes strangely.
I don't even have them in the cupboard at home all the time, I buy them sometimes. Yet towards the end of a holiday I find I want cornflakes and cold semiskimmed milk. I know they are available everywhere overseas but I don't want them there, I want them how they are at home. Weird. I know.

i find all this the wrong way round.
on holiday what is there to miss;
work
cleaning the flat
washing and ironing
over priced bars and restaurants
public transport that is overcrowded and slow
overtime
the weather(ok spain has not had a great spring this year)
lack of a "cuddle" at night
i'd rather be on holiday in spain thanks.

Just my bed and absolutely nothing else if the weather is good. If the weather is bad, absolutely everything.
Towards the end of the fortnight I start to crave things like corned beef and Golden Wonder cheese & onion crisps. Strange because I rarely eat them at home
Bacon sarnies, and the washing machine!!!! i have the most sloppiest kids and would love the washer to chuck the clothes in instead of trying to scrub them in the sink

I miss my bed, my sofa and my big telly with "proper" programmes. I miss a proper cup of tea - even if you take your own teabags on holiday, it never tastes quite right. Towards the end of the holiday I look forward to plain simple food (a nice cheese sandwich with a cuppa) and I also look forward to my own bathroom and big fluffy bath towels.
I miss HT and internet access for about a day then I'm with juby 5, time to relax and do nothing for the rest of the holiday. It's when I get back I tend to miss things; beach, sun, sea ......

I miss HT and the internet. In Europe I usually hunt down an internet cafe, but they are few and far between in Vegas and very expensive so I have to go up to 2 weeks without any internet access at all which I really miss.
However I got a laptop in January, took that and connected from my room which was bliss. It make it a perfect holiday.

you`re right there Dazbo!!!! when it gets to about day 11 i want to come home but when i get back i just wanna be back on the beach and in the sun again...

I miss my dog, parrot, cockatiel and pillow. That's it.
Oh, and sometimes, my pc. But not often and not for very long.

I miss the HT site..I miss my 2 moggies and my dog..I miss real gravy....erm..that is about it really..otherwise why go away!!
