Well done Cazz - a pound off is all in right direction. Have my WI tonight - had heavy weekend so not expecting much at all! But going to try again really hard next week and for next few weeks - am going to buy my dress second week in September, so would like to have lost a few more pounds by then!

Im having second thoughts about the 'egg diet', as Ive got high blood pressure, and as eggs are high in cholestrel, it might affect it. Im at the dox next week so will ask him if its ok to do this diet.

Daughters started the cereal diet, and getting sick of it after 2 days. Has anyone on here tried it?

Oh, if only we all had fast metabolisms, eh girls ;)

Well I have been so rubbish as I haven't been on here for ages. :duh I have roughly kept up to date with what's been going on and can see people have had some fantastic losses, so well done to you! I have to admit that over the last few months a couple of lbs have crept on but I've not been doing badly. However, I am back with renewed enthusiasm :) I have just been away for 2 weeks and somehow came back over 2lbs lighter than when I went :que So now i want to get back on the wagon!
What I would like to know is whether anyone has any recipes for low fat or fat free soups? I lost the weight at the beginning of the year when I was eating the WW fat free soup but I just got really sick of it so am hoping to find an alternative recipe :)
jackie15, I tried the cereal diet a few years ago and was so bored on it that I just couldn't keep it up. I'm not the biggest cereal fan at the best of times though! As far as this egg diet goes, well done to those of you that are disciplined enough to stick to it as I don't think I could. WW has always been the best diet for me as I hate it when I feel restricted.

Hi sun do you like carrot & corriander soup thats really low fat. Just boil a load of carots in stock using 1 stock cube salt & pepper then when cooked blitz with blender then add corriander then blitz again till smooth. If you like you can also add half a tub of low fat creme fraiche & this makes it really creamy. :tup

Vonny41 thanks for that, I'm going to make some tomorrow :) I am not a huge corriander fan but funnily enough do like carrot and corriander soup. Might try and be really good and leave the creme fraiche out (well for the first time anyway) :tup

I am on WW and got sick of the point free soups after about 4 days!! Even the smell of celery and vegetable stock cubes boiling now makes me feel ill!!

Only lost 1lb at WI on Wednesday bit thats 30lb is total now so I am expecting it to slow down a fair bit. Was really really hungry all weekend so am not trying to earn back points that I ate at the weekend, so expecting a gain this week!!

Don't do what I have recently done - came back from (a long) holiday with the usual pressies but also an extra 10lbs!!! Could not believe it. Bought quite a lot of clothes whilst in Oz but as the sizing is different did not realise they were a bigger. Came to put my narrow legged jeans on last week and honestly I could only just pull them up - could no where near fasten them. :whoops
Back to Rosemary Conley me thinks.

Sunaholic - google fat free soups and you will get loads. I have many recipes but would take too long to type them out. Rosemary Conleys site has recipes as has WW.

here are 3 to start with

Vonny41 that's brilliant!! :tup Hope you have a great hol too!
Thanks narial, I'll do that now. :) I made the carrot and corriander soup today and it was delicious. I'm on a roll now so I'm going to be super organised while I'm off work and make more and freeze it. Well that's the plan...

Started going to a Slimming World class last night. Got weighed & not as heavy as I thought I was. :) but still need to lose some weight

Woo hoo!! Lost 1.5lb last night which is incredible as I ate 14 points over my allocated amount last week!

Miss Highlander - that must be nice not being as heavy as you thought you were - mine was the opposite - I was almost a stone heavier than I had thought when I started WW!

Hope you are all gearing up for a good Bank Holiday weekend - I am going to try and avoid alcohol this weekend and do lots of walking as I really want my next silver 7 (35lbs) in the next couple of weeks!

Hi everyone
Have not been on site for quite a while. Congrats to all those who are doing well. :) Keep up the good work
We went on holiday for 2 weeks on 28th July and I came back 4llb heavier ;) In a way I was glad it was that much as last year only put on 0.5lb and I 'played about' with the plan for ages after that.
Went to class last Monday and was 'shocked' to see that I had lost 3.5lbs as I had consumed so much wine last week as we have my cousin staying with us from the IOM. Still drinking quuite a bit so it will probably catch up with me at next Mondays weigh in.
I think I would like to set a new target weight in time for the 'winter period' will speak to my consultant next week.
Now that holidays are over will be back on site on a more regular basis.
Speak soon.

Girlingreen, turned out I was about half a stone lighter that I thought I was. I did to WW towards the end of last year/start of this year, but got fed up with them.
Got my next weigh in on Tuesday evening, so I hope I've lost a few pounds during my first week with SW.

Morning everyone
Misshighlander and girlingreen- hope you have had a good week.
Realised I can't make class tonight as it is BH Mon - think I will have to go back to the Tuesday class which I joined originally but is now run by a 'stand in' consultant - Mondays are proving a bit difficult.
Have drank so much wine in the last week. :rofl that it is bound to have caught up with me so back on plan from this morning. :que
Just had a lovely breakfast of cereal with loads of strawberries (on offer in Asda for £1 a box). Off out later so don't know what I am going to do about lunch - will take something with me.
Have made some lovely soups in the last few days: Vegetables one and a spicy one with Thai spice and butternut squash. Going to make more in the next week.
Keep up the good work everyone.
