As Isabel has now got it that the pool will almost certainly not be open when we get there at @10.30pm Thursday night after askin us for about the last week , and askin about three times a day I would like to ask a question of people who have been.
What time does the pool close at night/evening?
After she had then got it that she will be arriving almost middle of night and would not be allowed to go swimming her next question was??????????????
What time will the pool be open in the morning?
Anyone any ideas what time the pool is open in the morning?
any 1 comming to the holiday village in sept with fins i need to borrow them im broke
Thanks for speedy reply Martyn, you guessed it another one, do they provide the snorkeling equipment on the trip or do you take your own, dont mind using someone else mask but not sure i would want to use snorkel, or maybe they santize them?
Yes the water walking bubble is with a charge,
triesd the Zip wires, was fabulous, no need for trainers.
Thanx for the reply about the Acidophilus Plus i am going to find out a bit more about them today
and the Antinal pills i thought people was joking when they said about it is also used by vets but no they right they are i have wrote some of the ingredients down and taking them to boots and superdrugs today to see what they can offer as i was told if you bring some of the ingredients down they can find a product to take with you i know i am worrying about nothing and probably will not need them as we go on the 1st December and the weather is a bit cooler just a worried Mum LOL
We have a standard room and was thinking about upgrading to a select room or swim up room was told by first choice that we can not have a swim up room because there are 4 of us but have read that family's have had 4 in them and stayed in the swim up rooms
do you have to ask when your over there if so cane someone tell me how much it was to upgrade plz
and the Standard room again thinking about the upgrade to select room only for the tea and coffee facilities first choice wanted to charge me £140 to swap also read that its different over there not that much different in the rooms and that people have had the tea and coffee in the standard room

Thanks, Justine
Katiesmum - adults could do the water walking aswell.
Also noticed people saying that the zip wire was £10 we only paid £6. Are they putting the prices up because it is peak weeks? Very naughty.
My best friend is there at the moment and having a great time. She came down with an upset stomach on Monday (same as me) got tablets from the chemist and was fine by Wed. Her husband and kids are fine.
Wish we were there.
Can't remember any quizes at night but they did do some during the day. They used to come around with the sheets and give them out if you wanted to do them.
I asked a friend who is a midwife to look up antinal for me and she phoned back and said they are not licenced anywhere and told us not to take them, and they are used in america by vets. On the other hand, people are obviously being given them and they work, and those people are not coming to any harm. I asked her if they contained penicillin and she said it didnt specify what antibiotic was in them, but that penicillin is an internationally recognised name and any pharmacy or doctor in the world would recognise the name if you say you are allergic (my daughter is). I now have no idea what Im going to do if we have to take something!!!
Omg only 13 sleeps til we are there!!
The nurse who gave me the jabs suggested we go to our doctor before we go to get anti biotics for tummy probs..maybe if you allergic to penicilin that would be the safest thing to do?
Questions: do the shops and to arrange trips etc accept debit card? just thinking it would save the confusion over what currency to take?..we have now been told they take Euros!??
Is the bingo nightly?..not for me but for hubby who loves it!
what do the Holiday Village NOT charge for!?! I was told the zipwire was £7 and my daughter thought the walking bubble was free and now I read they charge for that too! is the climbing and raft building and archery free or do they charge for these too!!
need to try and work out how much money to take..I always thought all inclusive meant 'all inclusive' and you had already paid for everything!
We are still sooo looking forward to this holiday..watched the video on FC today and it looks brilliant!
Joanne
i have read what some have put on and i to am allergic to penicillin my self i have looked up Antinal also known as Ambatrol
i went to Boots and Superdrugs to find out what i could take over there or if i could take something with me ?
well after a long hour wait both come back with we don't know what this drug is { not herd of }
So i was told by them to wright down some of the ingredients on the site where i found Antinal
i did get some so here they are if anyone needs then for there Doctor to find out what drug it is over here
i am taking these back with me on the 18th as he told me to do then he might find out
but the Doc is not happy to do this as there not to shore what bacterial infection is causing the problem
Just give me the tablets that stop sickness and trots and then i know i will be safe.....
all the help i got from him was when i was there if i got ill then just explain that you are allergic to penicillin to the pharmacy and they will give you something else but to be truthful i am not trusting no one over there { no offence }
but if i do need something and it is given to me and it still contains Penicillin it can kill me
{ Nifuroxazide Bacifurane Nafrozid Endiex Ercefuryl }
But I hope i get something to take with me
But i am having my injections on the 18Th and i will say to the nurse when i am their and hopefully she can give me some advice
bye 4 now

we had a kids den room, i requested block 6, which was fantastic has it was close to the main pool, entertainment and bar.
Sorry Briar i know it is off topic, i became sick after a few days, but only for one day, went to the chemist he gave me some meds to take, but it wasn't Antinal so people shouldn't be worried, i cleared up within a day, i would like to add though that the sickness was nothing at all to do with the hotel, just me adjusting to the different climate, i was the only one out of four of us that was ill.
Hi Martyn, hope you had a good flight back, we wish we was still there really didn't want to come home.
Glad you had a fab holiday. What chemist did you visit when you were ill heard the one just outside HV was quite expensive heard that one by starbucks was better how far is that. Can you change sterling at the Hotel. Did you pay for your medicine in English sterling or Egpytian money. many thanks
Hi Jamico, we used the pharmacy just out of the gates and to the right, i know there was a pharmacy to the left of the hotel, he was cheaper but i heard people complaining that the medication wasn't working, i never went to the one near Starbucks, but it was only a 5-10 mins walk. the pharmacy gave you the price in english, then you just paid in what currency you wanted, we used egyption pounds the whole time we was there, they gave you the price in english and changed it into eygption for you, they work on the exchange rate £1 = 10 egyption, so it was a fair exchange rate. We never changed any money at the hotel, but we used the cash macines nearby, opposite Starbucks there is a HSBC atm, so we stuck with that.
HI thehargreaves,
Hope you dont mind me asking but roughly how must was the medication that you bought from the chemist. Haven't got any egyptian money to take yet and we are going on thursday don't know if they stock it or will you have to order it from home. What do you think is best.
Bet you are pleased to see the rain!
Many thanks
Hi Donna, welcome back to rainy UK, hope you all enjoyed the rest of your holiday, how was the trip to Cairo?
Hi Stemma, i would say that i have been charged for using the HSBC machine but not sure how much yet, i just had more confidence with it being a name i knew.
Hi Martyn, thanks for that, i want some sunshine again, it got hotter after you left, and our last day was a real scorcher. we had a fab time in Cairo it is nothing at all like Sharm, but an amazing experiance i will send you some pics when i upload them, long day though, grateful for the air con bus. Hope you are all alright.
Post any links to photo's please all you newly back people! 4 weeks and 4 days for us!
Could anyone that has just been and come back please tell me if they were showing any films on the flight - 5 hours is a long time - but a good film passes the time.
