yippeeeee ours finally arrived back this morning, can now go and pay outstanding balance, didnt want incase we didn't get our visas (not that we shouldnt off) but never had one before. So Goa here we come

You were dead right Miccie. The VFS online tracking now says mine has been accepted at the Victoria London address. We are in the system 
If yours goes anything like ours fizzy2, it will hopefully say that it has gone to the HCI tomorrow!!! They do seem to be turning some of them around quite quickly at the moment. Just hope yours is one of the lucky ones.
what does this mean received at application centre, application centre birmingham on the 16th does it mean that they have been done? as this is what it now says on the online tracking i applied on the 7th online but vfs got them on the 8th.
Maybe they only processed them today (but seems a long time to hold on to them) OR maybe they have been done and are on the way back through the system.
Ours were sent on 4th October to Birmingham by special delivery status on line tracking says still says application created 2nd October(Is when I sent off on line application)

Has anybody ever lost a passport while applying for a indian travel visa?
Lizzley that means the visa has got to the application centre birmingham ok ...in a few days it will say on line that it has been sent to the HCI and it should be only with the HCI for 2 or 3 days ......colleen
Help have filled in on line and have ref numbers, went to pay crashed so no payment taken what next ??

I am absolutely stunned, I just checked the status of mine, not thinking for one moment it would have changed seeing as VFS only got it today ...... but it HAD. It's already been sent on to the HCI. If it continues to go so smoothly, I will be forced to admit that the system DOES work. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed.

Hi Snowyboy, yes send off your application forms signed to the visa centre which is the one for the area where you live, enclosing your passports and 2 photographs. If you are uncertain if your payment went through then enclose postal orders to the value needed for the visas. If it turns out that your payment did go through you can apply for a refund but sending the postal orders will save you some time. Keep a copy of the forms you are sending as it has the web reference number on it and your passport numbers so you can track your application online. Don't forget to send special delivery envelope with your application.

hi, sent them off monday to birmingham and i have just been on the vfs site its showing my hubbys but not mine,
it showed mine and not my hubbys so i just put his passport no in and eventually it showed up so try not to worry, if they were sent together it will be there
