stix,
The Airlines Of Thomsonfly And First Choice Airways Have Now Merged And Are Thomson Airways. That Means Your Flight Will Be Operated By Thomson Airways.
Your Flights TOM508/9 Will Be Operated By A Boeing 757-200 (winglets).
These Offer A 28" Seat Pitch Which Is Standard On Most Charter Airlines

Thanks Gower, you guys are amazing, cheers.
How many more 737-800's are due ?
TOM have 15x 737-800's in their fleet and are expecting one more (G-FDZT) due in August 2009. You'll find a comprehensive fleet listing on Jethroe's Airfleets.

Does anyone know why Flight TOM162 from MAN to Mexico, Cancun, flying today at 9.15am was cancelled?
Can anyone tell me for the bristol to sanford flight tomorrow morning, where the operating aircraft will be flying in from in the morning.
E.g will it fly from gatwick to operate this flight?? and is it usually about two hours before.
Also is it an ex tom or fca. And what 757-200s are in bristol at the moment is it two ex thomsons??
Thanks!!
Do you mean TOM258/9? It positions in before the flight after operating TOM188 I think (may be G-OOBM). I haven't got time to go through them all at the moment. Former First Choice 757-200's are operating out of BRS at the moment.
Darren
yeh it is tom258/9. Do you know if it positions in from gatwick early tomorrow morning??
Acording to ACARS logs, last weeks flight operated TOM188/9, then positioned down to LGW before positioning to BRS the morning after.
Darren
Thank you Darren
I can not find any reasons why this flight was cancelled but I could take a wild guess at the Passengers numbers being very low due to the previous swine flu and all the people that have cancelled.
wish they would sort out the livery, at least put thomson stickers in large on the fca planes.
Hi, can anyone please tell em what aircraft will be used on Manchester to Fuerteventura TOM2300 / 2301, just unsure since Thomson joined forces with First Choice, any help would be greatly appreciated, Alan.
Thanks Jack
Nothing smaller used than a 767-300.
MAN-FUE-MAN (TOM2300/1) are operated by an Airbus A321-200. Refer to our What Aircraft? thread for more details.
Darren
Welcome onboard
NCL-CUN-NCL (TOM568/9) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER as normal. At 2,329m, NCL's runway isn't big enough to allow the aircraft to take off with the required fuel. Your flight is still operating via MAN outbound to brim the tanks and take off using MAN's 3,000m+ runways. The flight is non-stop inbound. I can't tell you why your flight times have changed by 2 hours, the schedule (released at the beginning of May before the Swine Flu problems) shows:
Dep NCL 0825, Arr MAN 09:15, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM568
Dep MAN 10:15, Arr CUN 14:45, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM568

It might have something to do with lighter loads or the generally lighter ex-fca 767 having 25 less seats
Jack
Tried booking seats on a flight in 4 weeks time with the call centre. Having started at 6 weeks prior then down to 4 I though I would be ok but now it appears to be 2 weeks before. Can anyone confirm this? My flight is 1 July, TOM126, MAN-PUJ
