I went to the show last October for the first time, I was under the impression the food would be a 'feast' - it wasn't it was a bit crummy and had to get a take away on the way home.
I paid for quarter deck seats and wish I hadn't bothered as I was sat facing away from the stage - and I paid £300+.
It wouldn't put me off going again in a few years time - it is a great show. But, I'd probably go for normal seats and fill up my belly with some food before I went!
hth
and ive been three time(10 years ago/7 years ago/3 years ago not thro my choice! and i think its over rated and certainly not worth traveling from Alcudia to see(i was staying only 300 metres away in magaluf at those times). p.s.Son Amar was more expensive but food far superior and show much more entertaining ,but i havent been there for 5 or so years tho)
There are various seating options with the cheapest seat being the Quarter Deck, is this a good place to sit or would you recommend paying a bit more for a better seat?
Also there are different shows available e.g. Pirates Uncut (18), Come Fly With Me and the Pirates Family show, can anyone recommend the best show to see, we are a couple and a 20 year old son?
As we are staying in Santa Ponsa can anyone advise what would be the best way to get to the Pirates show, and should I book online before we go or book an adertised trip whle we are there etc. We're not going with a specific Travel Agent so will have to sort it out ourselves.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give and sorry my request is a bit long.
Can only give you information on the Pirates uncut (18) we thought the show was great not crude and really i think it was just the swearing that made it (18) didn't see any bare flesh. as you said its a greatshow. We did not pay extra and it seems that its just pot luck how you get seated we luckly ended up near the stage.
We were in alcudia a week ago and were thinking of going but we were quoted 53++ euros per seat which was near the back and as there were six of us thought it a bit expensive.
We have been to see the Pirates Family show - think we just paid for the cheaper seats and had a good enough view although a bit cramped. We were also staying in Santa Ponsa and just took a taxi there as we weren't sure where it was - don't remember how much it cost exactly but it wasn't too expensive. There's a regular bus runs to Magalluf from Santa Ponsa so you could always catch that. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and would recommend it.
has anyone been to the "Pirate Show" in Majorca?? I have been looking at the website for it and it looks brilliant!
Just wondered if anyone has an opinion
on it please

Excellent night of entertainment, expensive but worth every penny, would have booked to go a second night if had the money.
Hi, Just as previous post - expensive but worth it! We have been twice and thought it was brilliant, would definately go again. Food good - sausages, chicken chips, beans and coleslaw and all you want to drink. Show is lots of fun - very loud and lots of audience participation! If you get outside quick afterwards you can meet the pirates for photos and the kids enjoyed getting their programmes signed! It is very busy, they pack as many is as they can on the tables - but it wasn't a problem for us.
This may have already been mentioned previously but I think there is an option now just to buy tickets for the show - without having food. This will make it cheaper, but not sure by how much.
