andyrossitter,

Welcome onboard :tup
You'll find all the details in my post to karen-and-the-kids above. You can pre-book specific seats by calling the airline (08712 314787, alternative number on Saynoto0870) 4 - 6 weeks before your departure date, details on Thomsons website.

andyrossitter,

Your Flights Are Operated By A Boeing 767-300/ER (From The Former First Choice Fleet)

These Are Configured 2-3-2, There Is No Seating Plan Available From Thomson Airways,

IFE For Your Flight Can Be Found Here (about half way down the page posted by Dazbo5 )

Information On Meals Can Be Found Here (about a quarter of the way down the page posted by BY-TOM-AMM-FCA)

You Can Book Specific Seat Together By Phoning The Airline Direct 087 123 14 787 (For A Cost Of £6 Per Person Per Way)

Hi,

Does anyone know if TOM074 from LGW to CUN on 14th July will still be operated by a ex First Choice 767 with the recent changes that I have been reading about in the forum?

Thanks in advance,

Thank you

pcaroljones,
The flight from PUJ Tom 137 is showing as arriving in Manchester on the 14 July at 07-15. I dont know why the delay.

martin82,

TOM074/5 are operated by the former First Choice fleet (all long haul from LGW are).

pcaroljones,

It was due to a technical problem with the aircraft I think (G-OBYJ). The aircraft will remain in PUJ until the problem is rectified and it's servicable to operate the return flight.

hello,
you said to call back a couple of days before to see if the TOM196 is still on a ex FCA and what flight the aircraft operates before mine. Was wondering if you have this information now?

Hi guys,

I'm travelling from Belfast to Barbados, on 20th November.. i cant seem to find any info on what aircraft this will be, size wise/seat config/tv's in headrests etc?
Flight number is TOM 174 - can anyone help me? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!
Belfast is usually lumped with the crappiest smaller aircraft i would imagine, but as this is long haul i would like to think that this will be a decent sized aircraft..

Thanks everyone.
Emma.

Many thanks for replies. I think/hope he will be home tomorrow morning.

He emailed me to say that the plane is awaiting a part from the UK and will know more at 2pm Dominican Rep time.
I would have thought that he would be at the airport by then!

Anyone hear that there is a further delay please let me know so that I can text him. both Thomsonfly arrivals and Manchester have the plane as arriving at 07.16

Hi Alex,
Unfortunately the aircraft programme for next summer has not been finalised, and especially a route like SSH could be operated by several aircraft types at this stage or even at the last minute. The members, including myself on here will have the information around Jan-Mar 2010

This year the flight is operated by an ex Thomsonfly 767 in all economy configuration, however past use is no indication of future usage, indeed once trust returns to Cancun and Mexico they may use these aircraft in long haul configuration as they were originally planned this year(this only changed in May)

You are scheduled to be on an ex-First Choice aircraft, one of the nicer aircraft from a passenger point of view. It holds 258 passengers but this aircraft type can hold upto 344 (which should give you some idea of the space you'll have/the space you don't with 344 seats!)
You will get monitors in the headrest infront with a selection of movies(5, or 8 if you are in premium/upgrade for £5) Movies will be known around the end of October/start of November. The seat configuration is 2-3-2

Oh and your inbound flight, the aircraft is comming from Edinburgh, so you can keep an ear out for any delays, but P&O is very good at managing delays, and Ventura is plenty big enough to keep you entertained :tup

If you PM me at the start of November, I should be able to tell you what flight your aircraft operates for a few days before so you can keep an eye out for any delays.

oh, and you've got a great itinery, all three of my favourite islands in one go, but Aruba needs more than one day if you haven't been before!
