Hi Paul, the local beer there is really good too, I'm not a beer drinker but actually really enjoyed a few

, hubby said to remember to tell you they do proper sausages for breakfast rather than those dark pink artificial ones most places do. The buffet restraunt is quite nice as you can choose to sit either inside or out and the staff were very efficient and friendly.
The chef in the Portugese restraunt was a bit stroppy when a woman asked for a steak knife, he was offended, the thing was she wasn't complaining, she would have been quite happy to try with a sharper knife

but he started shouting at her in front of everyone, think he scared all the kids. We did back her up when she complained so hopefully he won't be there now. The funny thing was they didn't have a steak knife in the whole complex but went out the next day and got some. Other than that the food there was very nice and the setting was quite tranquil compare to the buffet noise. The Italian is nice too, both these restraunts are in the new block 2, very modern and new!!!!
The reps were fantastic, I had difficulty getting down the slope/stairs to block 2 and the rep manager (Lindsay) took me round in her car when I wanted to go to the restraunts, it was only a tiny journey but by the evening when I was tired, the cobbles were very rough. They also arranged for a wooden ramp to be made into the entertainment complex for another woman whose mobility scooter couldn't cope with the small step. So they were of the opinion that not everything's perfect but we will do our best to rectify things.
Sorry I do waffle a bit
