Papa,

You'll be on an e-ticket so all you need is your passport really but it's always useful to have your booking confirmation / reference number with you as well. They do state you need both your passport and reference number for check-in. I'd give them a call to get your number just in case you need it.

EDIT: sparky123 ... the aviation experts are always happy to help, but you have asked those same questions twice already. Perhaps you could browse back through your previous posts and refer to the answers received.
Many thanks

I respect that I have enquired about my aircraft but I haven't previously asked about the other aircraft scheduled for Palma from Manchester on the same day.

sparky123,

Are you actually travelling on the other flight? We don't mind providing information for flights you are actually travelling on but we have enough to do wothout digging out information for ones you aren't.

If it's a lot of messing around it doesn't matter I just wondered and I presumed that with them being to the same place on the same day from Manchester that it would be easy to find.

Apologies, sparky123.

It's too early to be 100% sure what will be assigned for Winter 10/11 as the schedule hasn't been finalised as yet. It should be a Boeing 757-200 (winglets) however. These don't have premium seating, only the long haul aircraft have a premium section. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi everyone,
We are flying NCL-CAN 5/5/10 and as the previous post said it does stop for refueling at Manchester adding 2 hrs onto the journey time. We are in premium but I just wondered if anyone knows if the full flight service starts at Newcastle or not until the 2nd take off at Manchester? (drinks/IFE etc)
Many thanks in advance

deana,

Your flight itinerary is as follows:

Dep NCL Wed 08:00, Arr MAN 08:50, Boeing 767-300/ER(W), Flight No: TOM348
Dep MAN Wed 09:50, Arr CUN 14:20 Boeing 767-300/ER(W), Flight No: TOM348

You'll only be on the ground for an hour in Manchester for refuelling. Your premium service will start in NCL, but there won't be any time to serve anything inflight as it's only a short hop to MAN. There won't be enough time to boot the IFE system, by the time it's on you'll be at top of descent in the MAN! While you're on the ground, I'm sure a limited service will be available but everything will remain stowed in preparation for your onward leg. The main service will commence once you leave Manchester.

Thanks Darren,
I knew you would be able to help again.
Just out of curiosity I haven't got the flight numbers yet but we are going from Newcastle to Punta Cana on 30th Sept 2010 and back on 7th Oct 2010, am I correct that these should be an ex Thompson plane's?
Best regards

The Newcastle flight is more likely to be a ex First Choice aircraft

deana,

NCL-PUJ-NCL (TOM677/8) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (Winglets). I would agree with BEfreeTODAY, it's more likely to be a former First Choice aircraft but if you want to ask closer to the time (after May), we can confirm it for you.

Good morning and 1st of all congratulations on providing an excellent forum.

I have only one question, I'm flying from Manchester to Montego Bay on May 2nd 2010,flight no: TOM 136, could you confirm that it will be a Thomson aircraft or a first choice aircraft?

I have pre booked my seat in premium, they aren't supposed to release pre booking until 60 days before the flight (according to the travel agent), but i booked it online a week ago.

For many years I've travelled with Thomas Cook, but this year decided to give Thomsons a try, i may regret it but hopefully not!

Darren will be able to help with your aircraft query I'm sure.
Thomson premium seats are available to book 90 days before your return flight. Having travelled with both TC and Thomson I will be very surprised if you regret it. Personal opinion only!

Your flights, MAN-MBJ-MAN (TOM136/7) should be operated by a fomer Thomsonfly Boeing 767-300/ER. However, as this is the first flight of the summer season, I can't confirm it yet as it sometimes changes. If when you check your seating online there are only 5 rows (31) of premium seats, that'll confirm it for you. If there are 9 rows (63), they've changed it for the summer to a former First Choice aircraft. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Thank you for your quick reply, there was only 5 rows on the online seat booking site, so i guess that answers my question.

Once again thank you.
