Thanks Lyn, hope you had a great time in Cuba.
Jacci, I will try and post review tomorrow but I will say we had a fantastic holiday, it really is a great hotel. My only worries with you using a moterbility scooter would be Gumbet itself but if you are'nt too bothered about getting out and about that won't affect you.

The flight time is approximately 4 hours 20 minutes subject to aircraft type (times based on a 757-200).

Wow .Excuse the pun :rofl . Excellent review Sharon . I'm particularly impressed with the "best holiday ever" part.
Now I'm having to price it up . 6.2K with Thomas cook (£1243 per adult ) . :yikes Will have a look into DIY.
Only stumbling block is Dave is Turkeyed out at the moment and enjoyed the change this year . Not that he has a lot of imput at the time of booking :rofl

Maggie84, the pool is freshwater not saltwater.

Lyn, we booked with Direct Holidays but I did watch the prices for a few weeks before we booked. Got it for about £1,100 each, expensive I know but unfortunately we have to go main weeks. Also, the Hemera and the Belcekiz were coming in at about £1,400! Extortionate! :yikes

We were there in May had a great time spoilt now trying to book for late sept no luck so far i dought we will pay the same again as it only cost us £1080 for a fortnight forthe 2 of us most people had paid that for a week trying to find another bargain with the same quality as wow

Have a look at the Kefaluka resort, I got it for £860 for the two of us with Direct Holidays leaving on October 4th for a week. Dreading looking for next year if this years prices are anything to go by. Hotel we fell in love with in Olu Deniz has gone up £600 per person in the last 2 years, that's some rate of inflation :que

Hi can anyone tell me if here are a lot of british in this hotel. We were in Rhodes this year and first week no english kids my son was a nightmare. We are hoping to go June 25th next year.

We went 21st July and there weren't many British there at all when we arrived. More Brits the second week due to school holidays. Predominantly Turkish,Dutch and French I would say. Also became a lot livelier during our second week.

Am booked to go here next July. Could anyone who's been remember what water sports are included in the all inclusive package? I'm getting conflicting reports. I've read that banana boats anf jet skiing is not included. If not - anyone any idea what the cost is?

Hi Jacci, the watersports are no longer part of the AI package. The only ones that are free are the canoes. I had a price list for all the other watersports if I can find it I will get back to you. Yes, we found Direct Holidays were the cheapest too.

Thanks Jacci. Just had another price up. £5864 for 6 of us . Still a lot of money but it's still on my shortlist . Just wish I knew who want's to come so i can get down to the serious stuff of booking . I'm normally well booked by now but now the lads are older I'm having to be more patient . :( Voyage torba is also on the list along with mexico and back to cuba . Oh decisions decisions .
Only thing at the moment putting me off going back to our beloved turkey is my sons Girlfriend hated it when she went .And that was gumbet . If she poo poos it we are on our own which I would find hard to take .
