Yes....did the same when I just clicked on a link in the Goa forum. I got back to the forum by clicking the back button but agree a seperate page would be easier.
Hover over the link and right click on the mouse, a pop-up should appear and you will be able to....

Edit - it looks like the two icons are different (one white on yellow back ground and the other blue on yellow background) but it is not consistent with the rest of the theme because it appears only new posts have the yellow back ground.

Another bug.
The "new post icon" that is placed behind the username on both the forum and viewforum index appear to have different behaviours. The behaviour on the viewforum index is correct because it points to the correct post, but the behaviour on the main index page appears that it links to a post on page number 4 rather than 7 at the time of posting this reply.

Yep I mentioned that one too Mark, but you put it so much better than me
I can't get on to the forums from my blackberry.The blue bar at the top only shows reviews, destination and cruise buttons- no blog, forum or about ones.
have problems with my smart phoe.. tap talk is not currently supported ... its one of the many things on the list of to do's for the boys, getting forums right is priority

Fiona, ive not tested the site in a blackberry but sounds similar to another display issue that I'm looking at. Hopefully the fix will sort both. I'll keep you posted.

To add: favicon issue is not an issue on Firefox but appears to be one of those things on IE8.
Your useragent says you're using IE7, which is a bit old now and newer browsers don't need the line code you mentioned.
