Since this seems to be the current £10 cruise topic.

I have not been follwing the thread. but the subject came up on working Lunch again last week. So they are still following and may be intersted on hearing from those still waiting. (BBC2 day time)

(if this is already mentioned feel free to remove)

'It good to be back, it's good to be back oh ya oh ya' (well its the last song I sing, if no-one else can be bothered to join in, mind you I have the voice that can empty a pub at 10.30pm on a Sat night, so I'm informed) by the jelous types.

It is good to the site 'on air' again. :D :D
:ghug :pele :pele :ghug

Just one comment I'd like to make NO-ONE has commented on the two :yikes YES 2 pictures of me wearing the H.T. tee shirt. :bow In case anyone has difficulty in seeing me in the photos I'm the one with the slipped bust ! :rofl :rofl 3 of the last pictures put up were from Vivien (those of me). The Coven are higly amused and number 3 highly embarissed, as she was under orders :argue from numbers 1 & 2 to remove the wig and sarong etc from the luggage. The pictures prove I can outwit them :hmmm

Quite a few passengers on the ship asked what the message on the tee shirt ment and at least one of the crew took a photo of it, the tee shirt not my slipped :omg
did anyone else buy a tee shirt and dare to wear it ?

Nite nite

I did Phil! I had a custom made one with my butterfly avatar but I'd better not mention the caption although it was just a play on words: :( other than to say it was to do with 'express yourself and rise above' etc.etc. - you get the drift :) I wore it on the first day so other DE 's' would recognize me - but I felt a bit stupid so I wore a long scarf over it.

I was going to consign it to decorating duties but I've gone all nostalgic so think I'll keep it as a souvenir!

By the way - were you on the right cruise? I notice on picture 2 you are standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. :o :?

Good Evening for the Balcony, (what a wet day it is, just wish the cruise season had re-started again).

Allisu, you had me worried (mention of the Blackpool Tower - look alike) I had to look after all I disown all responsibility for the pictures of me, Vivien took them. the Coven are speachless because I show off my roundness (slipped muscle)
Where is everybody, gone Christmas shopping, I did all mine (well the second lot and finished in 10 mins flat - calenders for everyone - easy I fail to understand all the commotion. So beware.
I may even send the Express one of 2003 I do have an old one (un-used).

Bye for now

Seeing as we are being ordered not to mention a certain company at all, it's interesting to note that the Topic Name still does!

I think I can safely post this WorkingLunch article here as did does not mention a certain promotions company :-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/working_lunch/4467546.stm .

As you can see from this article, the question of whether you can sue or not is a bit questionable, but it still might make an interesting court case, just for the bad publicity it would generate for a certain newspaper.

Oops! , On reading the article again I see it does mention the promotions company. Sorry about that ,but surely you won't get into trouble this time as I was quoting the BBC and it is in the public domain.

Just in case any of us uncouth cruisers meet up with the lovely man quoted at end of the article :thanks (jealous me thinks! ) here is a guide to holding your knife correctly:

I found this quote: "Confused about which item of cutlery to use? Here's an easy way to remember: The word "left has four letters, so does the word "fork." The word "right" has five letters, so do the words "knife" and "spoon." This is a great way to remember that the fork is on your left, and the knife and spoon are set to your right."

Have an enjoyable meal!

The Edit button was removed a couple of weeks ago. It may be back in the future, but I can't guarantee it.

good Evening from the Balcony :D :D :D
(bit warmer today and a lot drier)

Just had a look at the 'Working Lunch article and logged on to the following
http://www.isp.org.uk/display/samples.html
No mention of either organisation or the promotion, but I have emailed to see if either has ever been or is a member because the code of practice makes intresting reading. :bow

Yet agin, well so much to say

Allisu, the knife fork issue should not arise, unless left handed, as the tables are all laid before one joins ones fellow dinners. so the person who complained was just being a prat

All this cold weather has got me thinking about my non existant cruise again. Could anyone give me a 1 sentence summary of what's happening ... such things as have many people actually been on the cruise and who should I contact at the Express to remind them I am still around.
