Hi Maureen,
I did, quite early on and they wern't interested!! I think there is some sort of deal that they wont comment on, or take an interest in, any rival paper's special offers etc. Probably because they are all as bad as each other
I had my cruise in October but would be willing to support any non cruisers at a peaceful demo . A Thursday would suit me I am not available Friday or Saturday. I do feel though that you would need a majority of non cruisers to make an impact. regards Chris

Sorry I too have been caught up in the stressful, expensive time that is that joyous occasion known as Christmas. Daughter still at home from Uni so not quite back to the quiet, peaceful life that I'm used to but I am watching and will support any action if I can. Wow, did the tankers roll around here over the past few weeks???
It is nice to know that other people are still trying, as I am, to get their promised cruise. I have not even been notified of any 'alternatives' available, but would really prefer to have what I sent off for all thoses long months ago!
reading the posts it sounds as if there is some activity going on so the more of you that get together the better.
good luck carol
the important thing is not to give up!! Persistence does pay off! If you can bear it!! You will get plenty of support from this site too. Good luck!
Firstly, may I wish you all (belatedly!!!) a very happy and healthy New Year and a special wish for those still fighting for their cruises to be successful. I may not be able to get to London to join you in person but would try once I know when a protest is planned. Keep pushing them!
Good to see you back. Hope you are well and a very happy New Year to you and all members.

Wondered if any one had seen a DE TV advertisement over the weekend, think it was Sunday evening I saw it. It is designed to appeal to middle England and is saying they stand for honesty and integrity, I couldn't quite believe it when I saw it. A case for trade descriptions??
How sickening is that ?
And of course the owner of the Express made his fortune from soft-porn magazines ! He his also famous for this piece of notorious behaviour :-
Oh what a buitiful Morning Oh what a buitifuldaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy
Well it was not Raining, Snowing or Frosty so it were grand. and Number 1, 2 & 3 have left me alone since Sunday. :pele
Went for the last time to see Himmlers daughters today :glynis. It seems that at long last I've finally got through to them, I'm no sadest, ye gods who wants to be put into a harness and streached I mean streached - I make long John Baldry look short - my boxers are nearly round my ears when I leave the Doss House, that maskeraids as a hospital phsyo dept.
Ding Dong is on offer £14.50 at Tescos (double celebration).
It is nice to Welcome Jean and the others, Sad that they are still waiting for the "£10 Cruise for every reader".
Perhaps we should do what 'Shhhhhhhhh You know who' had done to them many years ago but instead of hundreds of non-return bottles, we dump toy plastic ships on the doorstep of the DE
Food for thought -on that note off to the chippy, pity down here they use oil not dripping - now thats how to make chips

I can't remember who took up the story when the Daily Mail had the problem with the 'hoover' vouchers.
I'm trying to find a free day when I can go up to the DE offices. I am determined to go. Who should I ask for? Any ideas?
Just got up, ye Gods that Johnny Walker does't half hold you down in bed (met a pal in the chippy he drinks JW, well I'll drink anyones if there are buying. (found I shared my bed with 3 cream donuts last night (I have no memory of even coming home never mind going to bed) , so its wash the bedding and Bath day all in one day (poor drains).
I have today e-mailed the letters page of the Daily Telegraph. It does depend on whether or not they share the same 'bed'. :
Mai, shame on you, are you suggesting that the 'print' industry have entered into a conspiracy of silence about the "£10 Crise for each Reader" offer - never, they would never dream of such a thing. Just like the Government would never in a million years go against what the people wanted. (pass the sick bag Alice).
Take care
Phil (where's the Renies).
I have long been watching HT on this topic without posting, but after watching the Express advert promoting 'good manners' felt I had to post. I have sent several letters to the Express without even an acknowledgement - I hardly call that good manners. I was originally 'allocated' a Caribbean cruise in April, refused the vouchers and have heard very little since. I am determined not to give way on this and want my £10 cruise - a matter of principle now. Living fairly close to London would be interested in joining others in a 'visit' to the Express to try and get some answers to our questions,
Private Eye would say "pass the sick-bag Alice".
I have just seen that DE advert for the first time. I must say it's stomach churning in its hypocrisy. As
