we have been moved from tropical jacuzzi suite to pegasus jacuzzi suite.they say at first choice tropical jacuzzi suites were for 4 people but now for only 3.we went to pegasus palace last year so not bothered and also we have made a saving of about £400 ha ha ha one up on first choice.
It would seem that first choice have learnt nothing from last year! All inclusive should be just that, a lot of holiday makers at the start of the season complained so much about the ice creams, towels, safes etc not being including in the AI that half way thro' the season they added them to the AI. AI should be just that, if FC are not careful they are going to have the same problems as they had last year. Perhaps FC should look at AI in the caribean as they have got it spot on
I am going to PP in May this year and was wondering if the pools will be cold? Also what the select rooms were like.
hi shuggy, i cant comment on how cold the pools will be as we went in oct and they were cold then, if you look in the first choice summer book you will see a picture that says "family room at tropical" we stayed in a select room at the tropical and they are identical to that picture. the select rooms are more expensive than the family rooms though! the only difference is the select room has a jacuzzi bath, bath robe and paper slippers!
we went in september, weather was hot, pools were warm, and i imagine may weather to be similar to september. just for the record our biggest dissapointment were the mud baths, dirty, smelly, and a guide that made arthur meldrew seem like coco the clown,
Do you think they might waive some of the amendment charges if we go for something which is £1000 more expensive? Given also they've made a hotel room change? It would be frustrating to have to pay 35*2 (? hotel+flight) * 4 (people) for the privilige....
i would tell them that you didnt want to stay at the palace for personal reasons and that is why you booked the tropical and that you would rather change the holiday to something else and because it is more expensive i would imagine they wont argue! please let us know how you get on
Not really concerned about it.
Went AI two years ago to Side in Turkey and really enjoyed it.
I am sure last years horror stories will be ironed out for this season.
We are travelling in July and hope any early travellers will post and let us all know.
could someone tell me if you need a credit card to use the tom watch at pegasos palace. thanks michelle
No I think you can put money on it using Turkish lira, euros or english pounds.
Hi, thats right you can use lira, euros or pounds for the tom watch. We used pounds but when we checked out they tried to give us lira back but eventually we got pounds back
how much money did you,s put on the tom watches to begin with? michelle
you have to put £50 on it to start with, but we hardly used it. We only used it for ice creams that weren't free or for pop-corn when the kids had movie night at the kids club and the occasional drink after mid-night
We only put 20 euros on our sthe whole time we were there and didnt use it much as we felt it was a rip off.
when we went we were able to buy anything we wanted with cash (euro's, lira or sterling)

Does anyone know if they will be having the beach party again this year and if they will be building an adventure playground ?
The manager of the first choice holiday hypermarket we booked with has told us that ALL locally produced alcohol is included in the AI package. He said that this was the case all last year as well.
Can some of you who have been there please confirm what alcohol was actually AI last year?
Thanks in advance,
Emma.
