Here is a tip for all you lucky people going soon. We don't go until late July.

Last year we made a point of supplying the cleaners, gardeners and pool life guards with liquid refreshment during those long hot days. They cannot thank you enough and we made some great friends even though the language barrier was a bit difficult.

The ladies who clean the toilets all day especially like a glass or two of Effes to keep them going. One morning while I was lying on my sunbed, I was given a large number of clean beach towels from one of the toilet assistants as a thank you. You normally have to get up very early to obtain these.

Remember, a little bit of kindness goes a long way.

Have a great holiday, you will not be disappointed, unless of course you don't enjoy wall to wall sunshine, good food and drink and exceptional amenities.

I'm going to the PP on Monday with my husband and two children (4 and 7). I am so, so grateful for the postings from people who have recently returned from PP and for those out there at the moment (scottishmum and caithness). It really seems as though it will be a fantastic holiday and we are very excited (I could just about get the children to go to school this morning!).

Just a couple of questions:-
Kid's Clubs- is there any difficulty in getting the children booked in? Is there lots of availability and do they do the tea-time club (approx 6-8:30pm).
A'la carte restaurants- How often can you book into these?
Dress code- Do men have to wear full length trousers in the evening?

Back to the packing!

Can anyone tell me the name of the lager/beer on all inclusive please.
Also is that right there are no ironing and laundry facilities?
Thanks for all replies.

Efes is the beer (Quite nice apparently) but reading other posts it sounds like you only get this in a small plastic glass that once used, only gets rinsed out! I am a sponge for beer and worry that I am going too spen my holiday in the q's waiting for the allocated 4 drinks per visit!

I have read that you are best takign a travel iron (I have these, they do not iron!) as it is expensive to use the facilities at the resort. However would really likje to know how much this costs if anyopne can help out?

a la carte restaurants last year was one visit to each per holiday. You have to be up and in the queue early though to book them, about 7.30am for the on site manager to arrive at 8.00am.

There was no dress code whatsoever for the restaurants which wasn't a problem for us apart from lunchtimes. Many children used to come up wet from the pool and water and marble floors do not mix well I'm sure you know.

We got a superb travel iron from the airport shop, it even has the steam facility, we used to out a towel on the coffee table and iron on there. It worked extremely well.

Sorry, can't comment on any laundry facility because we never had cause to use them.

Have a great holiday!

Hi everyone :D

Regarding a la carte resturants whilst we were there last year at the end of august we visited the indian and italian twice during our stay and had no problems in getting in them. Infact one afternoon we booked for the same evening so the demand had obviously dropped off.

I hope all you lucky sods that are going soon have the best time ever and enjoy every moment of it.

Hope everyone keeps us posted on whats happening.

Once again go and have a great time we did.

Oh by the way i always take my iron from home it gets the clothes crease free and does not weigh much.Just pack it in the middle of the case so it does not get broke.

What's this about only 4 drinks per person - is there really a limit? When are you going - we're there on 21st August - 4th September.

Probably done to avoid the queues like last year. seemed to be that most tables nominated one person to get all the drinks at a time and you saw many people carrying trays that were literally full with drinks.

Tell me about it Barnio

Last year we stood behind a Bloke getting about 25 Beers :!: and when the barman had done them all, after running out and having to change the barrel :? he then had a go at him and demanded that he fill them to the very top cos in his words " I have paid enough for this :swear holiday so the least i can expect is a full glass of beer" ... and I had my 2 boys beside me...another reason why i have been put off going again...

... so i say good on the person who made this rule and hope that everyone realises that it has been done for everyones sake...

Have a great holiday all you out there :wave

Hi all :P Just got back from a wonderful two weeks at the Pagasos, dont know why anyone is worrying it was the best holiday we have ever had.

Got to say sorry to Mustafa for not calling in but the kids were that happy with all the entertainment on site we didnt do much else.

I think this hotel will be upgraded next year to 5 star now it is an Iberostar, the food was very good, the complex was spotless, the rooms are beautiful and the reps are out of this world.

What more can I say I am going to go on the reviews later and put my two penneth together I did try sending a reply from the Pegasos but couldnt remember password so I appologise.

Happy hols to everyone still to go and dont worry its amazing.

 Hi Mcfester, I will try and answer your questions as best I can but I must admit my kids didnt go for the full kids club thing they preferred it when the reps came round asking if anyone was interested in canoeing or high ropes then they would just get up and go.

The kids clubs are four times a day I think the times were 10am -12, 2-4, 6-8 and 9.30-11. But as I say there is always something else to do so they are spoilt for choice.

They have put a big screen up in one of the pool bars and are screening most of the football matches that are on and the rest of the time it is music channels. In the rooms you can get a couple of English programmes eg Eastenders and such, my two year old nephew was happy because he could tune in to Tellytubbies and Fimbles on a morning and there is a movie channel on with back to back films all day (we know this because unfortunatley our daughter got chicken pox and was confined to barracks for four days) but thats another story which I will tell you all about how good the doctor and the reps were in my review.

As for the complimentary toiletries they were very small bottles and didnt use them until we ran out of ours, I wouldnt recommend you rely on them alone because you would quickly run out.

Have a wonderful time.

Thanks Debbie, sounds like they have better adult entertainment then than last year?

Had to ask about the TV, a couple of our kids are only toddlers and we are not expecting them to staty up late, hence makign sure we have something to do.

Cheers

Just to let you know that myself and my family are having a wonderfull time, the staff all are wounderful and cant do anything more to help you have a wonderful holiday. My 2 and 5 year olds are having a marvelous time the 5 year old especially loves the Kids club from 9=11 when they have something differant every night for example popcorn and a film or tonight its a chocolate party!! There are no problems at getting him into any time slot he has wanted at the moment. Today for the first time there has appeared some Padding for some of the sunbeds!! So today was spent by the kids pool on some luxury padding!! No worries at early morning towell journeys even at 11AM you can still get some pool side seats but only @700 people this week apparantly @1200 next week so lets see how it hots up!\
No queing for a table for breakfast or dinner lots of lovely food tonight was a Mexican theame it was excellent. even the lovely chefs wore mexican hats.
I thought I would have a drink problem this holiday! Meaning nothing I like seemed to be available but they do peach snapps!! And lots of other flavours besides. We are off on a cruise with Scottishmum tomorrow we are going with the hotel as it was only a fiver difference than in the village so not much differance we thought also they have the kids entertainers on board too added bonus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well im off to get another orange snapps

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

myself and my family of 10 have just returned from a two week holiday at Pegasos palace hotel in Sarigerme, i must say that we had an absolutely fantastic time the hotel was immaculate ,the staff were friendlyand courteous and the food was of an excellent standard there are building works going on next door but you wouldnt know that they were going on ,
our only complaint if you could call it that was that the excursions from first choice were expensive ,so to cut a long story short we went into Sarigerme where we arranged all our tours through Sarigerme Travel which is situated about 20 yards from the taxi rank at the bottom of the street we found them to be really helpful and if you go into there office ask to see Mustafa as he will do everything that he can to facilitate your requests and if necessary he will tailor the trip to suit you within reasonable bounds , So all in all for the best trip deals (saving around25%)go into the village of Sarigerme and you can get a much better deal so in conclusion Sarigerme is beautiful place for a holiday and we will in all truth return to Sarigerme in the future and definitely use Sarigerme travel again as the gave us 5 star service and excellent value for money i would recommend the gocek 5 island boat trip over the 12 island one as it is far more relaxing and you get more time for swimming etc also the dalyan mud baths for the sheer novelty factor of getting absolutely covered in mud which is warm and quite therapeutic, our guide on all our trips was musti and he is really knowledgeable and has a really good sense of fun but above all if you have children with you he is concious of any dangers and will warn you of them if only to ensure the safety of your family
