my youngest son is 2 years old and still wears nappies and i'm sure alot of other 2 year olds and older wear nappies. Every child is different so don't be so rude
elbow
in the shop at pp you could by the small packs of nappies with about 25ish in but they were about 18 lira. The shops in sarigerme you could get the small packs of pampers for about 12 lira
Hope this helps

Thanks for that Spurs1971( I hope that's not a football thing , cos you beat me hands down if it is ) how far is the walk to the local shops?
i would say about 15 mins walk but it isn't very nice along the road. The taxi cost 5 lira each way, this was last year so might be a bit more this year.
(who do you support then)

we went in july and the taxi was 7 lira each way, also my 3 soon to be 4 yr old still weras nappies for bed I took mine with me but i only needed 14 for night times i'd take enough to keep you going for couple days till you find your way around and settle in
I know and I'm sorry but...I have 2 boys (older now) one was clean at 13 months the other, well nearly 4
Kids hey

Sorry for the drunken rudeness of my comment elbow. We must have had it easy as our little uns were out of nappies, bottles and dummies before they reached two. I on the other hand an 30 this year and am still on the bottles, nappies and dummies!
We're going out on the 24th as well, so will hide from you in case you want to have a go about nappies!
Getting back to the hotel, does anyone know if they have plenty of high chairs?

There was plenty of highchairs. They had the chicco mama ones!! I would take some nappies with you enough to last you till you can get out and buy some as the shops in the hotel are very overpriced compared to outside resort!
Hi all. not been on for some time. i have been busy getting married an going away after. we go to pp on the 28th aug an would like to know where we could buy our duty frees from. mostly our ciggies. and does anyone know what your allowance is to bring home?
Have heard these two hotels are going to be completely split for 2007. Palace side to be renamed Holiday village turkey run by FC with all the kids clubs etc and Tropical to be Iberostar mainly for couples and not bookable through FC. This is a good move if it is true as the complex is far too big as it is. Anyone else heard anything?
I personally think it would be a bad move to make. I enjoyed not being tied to one hotel it was nice to make a choice of which hotel you wanted to eat in and it was also nice to stroll round the tropical grounds at night. Because there is not alot close to the hotel it is nice to wonder round such a big complex.
Glad we are going again this year if this is going to be happening to the hotels next year.

Can anyone tell me if you are aloud to use inflatables in all of the pools, & when you are there is the best place to buy then from.
What is the cost?
Thank you

Hi webbo200
yes you are allowed to use inflatables but i would suggest going to places like tesco and asda where you can buy them for £1. The shop on site was selling them for between £10 - £30

Bailey, I would buy cigarettes on the actual flight to Turkey as you get 400 for only £24!!! Then you have cigs for over there as its fakes fags they sell in Turkey! You are only allowed to take back 200 each, but can take in as much as you like. Do not buy cigs anywhere but in the airport to take back from turkey as they are illegal!
