The question is - is it feasible?
How difficult is it to get around to see the sites with someone who is quite frail and slow. Where is best to stay - centrally and take taxis to sites, or get a place out of the city and drive in? What is Rome like at Christmas? Gorgeous, chaotic, expensive, quiet? Would it be possible to attend a Papal mass?
How easy is it to get accommodation for 10-12 people in or near Rome? We want to keep the cost down as much as possible as me and my husband and his brother are paying for everyone (kids etc) so an apartment or villa type thing rather than a hotel would be best for us.
Any feedback at all welcomed - thanks in advance!
Janine
