Protaras - Cheap bars and Quiz Nights ??

My partner and I are going to Protaras on 13th Sept. We have previously stayed in Limassol 6 times and wanted a change. We hear there are plenty of bars with entertainment - do any of them do a quiz night? (Yes, I know, it is very sad isn't it!) and can anyone recommend a quiet(ish) CHEAP bar??

The only one we saw when we were there (although we weren't actively looking!) was the Rooftop Bar in Protaras, which had a quiz night, possibly on a Friday, but don't quote me on the correct day!

The bar is situated opposite in between the Sunrise Beach and Vrissiana near Pizza Hut.

hi madmax, we're staying at the brilliant but arrive on the 8th, i'm hoping me kezzabelle and shoestring will be signed up by polydor for our karaoke exploits by the time you arrive and will be touring the universe :lol:

however in the unlikely event that this doesn't happen then you will find us all strutting our stuff at the zodiac if we haven't already been banned for "hogging the mike" all night and creating a disturbance :shock:

shoestring i've been practising that proclaimers song you mentioned and my wife reliably informs me that "she will walk five hundred miles" if i sing it. bring it on!!!!!!! :lol:

looking to go to protaras 19th sept what kind of weather can i expect and how busy will protaras be, we were there last whit can i expect things to be similar to then

I'm going to Protaras September 24th and I expect it to still be laye 80'sto early 90's like it was last October when I went.

The strip should still be pretty busy. It all closes down at the end of October
