See notes on the trip advisor site - doesnt look too hopeful. I cant believe that Longwood would cancel the Monday flight on 2nd October, they would provide another plane surely

Has anyone actually spoken to Ezy. I spoke to Longwood this morning and they didnt have a reservation for me
I have been offered a flight on the 29th september instead which is 1 week on friday,...
Which I have accepted and this time I fly with Astreus
near enough the same departure times etc
there is no problems with the hotel
it is just the flight
the lady I dealt with was very apologetic and I have learnt throughout life not to shoot the messenger.
so it seems for the time being i am sorted i do feel for those who do not have the luxury of being able to change dates at short notice

You need to check flight details and double check with the airline as a precautionary measure
Just as a matter of interest were you flying out on 2nd October, if not, why have they changed your holiday. If you were, thats ok, but check out flights as this is what happened to Soton Joe, transferred from a Thursday to a Saturday, then cancelled nearer the time.

Did Longwood cancel the 2nd October flight? Or did Ezy just not book the seats on the Monarch flight?
that may well mean that they have overbooked the flight, didnt book the flight, etc etc
really dont know.......

As Helene says, the Friday flight is Thomsons and I believe that FC fly on Thursdays, with the Condor flight ( Munich - Taba ) on Tuesday. If they have got you seats on the Thomson flight then all well and good. If...

Just had a quck look at theEzy Travel website, no sign of ABTA, ATOL or any other bonding etc.
One to avoid in future? Or a problem with the airline - we wait to hear.

As far as I can see they take customers' money before making bookings with operators at the very last minute. Despite booking with them in january, my holiday hadn't been actually booked with an operator right up to within 7 days of departure.
That said, I think some people have managed to successfully travel. I can't name names, but I've seen some positive references on the internet when searching before.
I certainly wouldn't trust them ever again and I'd advise you to try and secure a full refund. In fairness to them, they didn't quibble at all when I demanded this but it may be a different story if lots of people start doing it at once.
Depending on what documentation they have sent you your credit card compnay may be able to reclaim the money for you; it's worth speaking to the relevant credit card compnay if you did pay using one.
I hope your holidays happen or you get your money back. I wouldn't just sit back and wait and see though!!!
