Sorry Briar for going off topic.

We went to pegasus tropical in sept 2005 and i got bitten horrendously. Although it wasn't until i got home that it was at it's worst. Thought they'de all gone, but after 2 days at home, they all came back the size of saucers, swollen, red, rock hard and mega itchy. Doctor said, delayed acute allergic reaction. Had to have steroids and extra strong anti histimine, but they didn't stop them itching. Was so bad i was sitting on freezer packs to numb the itching and crying like a baby, not attractive i can tell you. Looked a bit like the elephant woman, as i'd been bitten on the face and neck. Had to have a week off work. (pity)
If the mossies like you i don't think anything will stop them. i had every spary/cream/oil available on, and to honest, they're not usually interested in me. I usually get the odd one but saw people with 50 plus bites. I only had 15 but it was the allergic reaction i had that was awful.
I would love to go back here, but the mere thought of those little blighters bring me right back to my senses.

hi all,
if the problem with mozzies is so bad at this resort why doesn't the hotel spray, the hotel were i stay use this method every night, theres a gang of blokes walking around the complex looking like ghost busters, the smells not to nice and theres thick smoke everywhere, but it does the trick,i haven't even seen one mozzie let alone bitten by one, :glynis

one more for now. what sort of clothes do women wear in the evenings? i'm finding it hard to find things i like? is it dressy?

When we went in June 2005, the Jacuzzi suites had a "No Children" policy. When we saw that that was no longer the case, we jumped at the chance. 8 weeks to go now and all are getting excited already!

i didnt find it dressey, i wore 3/4 jeans/trousers with tops or normal trousers and tops people were very casual
hope this helps

we found our bed a bit hard, good thing about the suites is the kingsize bedroom is seperated from the louge area and has airconditioning in it,which works really well, but have to say we found the sofa bed more comfy and slept on that most of the week,as for dressing up,its mainly casual ,but there are some noce restaurants you can eat in where u would need to dress up..
