thanks so much lynne . in my inpatience for an answer from them I sent 2 emails + a request on their online customer services . i have just had another e mail with 2007 prices but there are loads of gaps on the list anyway and I cant make head nor tail of it . . Im in no hurry at the moment and happy to wait a bit.

lyn travelrepublic have ADR prices for next year and they are reasonable im so annoyed now i booked package for us over whit for 2 wks its around 856 and if i had booked flights when they were 70 total would have been 1066 & trans which wouldnt have been much and would have saved me around £500 grrrrrrr , put in code CARDSTUDENT that seems to give 7.5% discount. just worked out now if i cancel package and do a DIY after paying extra for flight increase and loss of dep wouldnt be worth cancelling shame

that is a b u mmer Karen . Could you maybe transfer your deposit to something else later in the year. £500 is a lot of money but i expect the price of those flights have gone up a fair bit now havnt they??

Ive just priced ours with TR and yes not a bad price . 2 rooms but looks like my youngest who will be 12 then counts a s an adult with them so would need to pay the whole 6 of us as adult prices which comes to £3062 including a £248 reduction for the promo code . thanks for that so with my cheap flights thats £3698 against portlands £4900. nice one . thats the best so far but my challenge will be to improve it

thats a good saving and great price for ADR and ive found that normally booking direct costs more. the problem is ive booked flights only for aug with aegean flights so wouldnt go again next year with portland and ive got a hol this year already booked with them. the flights have gone up from 210 to around 360 but still works out about about less & transfers. oh silly me just realised its not 500 its about 200 oops ignore having a blonde moment, had major floods in part of my house today so got a good reason

I have a feeling the direct price will be more as well but i really want to hold out and see what thomsons can do for the accomodation only . The price if i was booking now for middle august this year which is what they have left works out £2500 so I thinks its worth waiting and I still need to wait for son to start his job end August before he can even think about asking if he can have those dates. Ive taken the chance with the flights but want to make sure before I pay a big deposit on rooms . children leaving school eh . great in many ways but a pain in the behind in others.just as i was getting in the swing of booking lots of holidays as well.

its my basement that has had all the floods but it was done out as 3 used rooms so ive lost a lot of furnishings,thousands of £ of damage grr, insurance will sort it out, at least my main house is ok, could have been worse

will look forward to seeing more reviews on the ADR although im a bit concerned now ive heard its not as good as letoonia which we loved and that wasnt quite as good as lykia but still a fab place, but its in a part of turkey ive not visited, been to bodrum and wasnt keen but we will see how turgetries is ,heard good reports and looks nice

me too ived only flown to Dalaman and stayed in olu deniz and once in icmeler so im looking forward to a change and moving along the coast. I was just gonna ask how far Ephesus is from bodrum then realised it will be august when we go so maybe not . Ouch . too hot for roman ruins.

to look at trips try turgutreis travel agency on google - they give itinerarys and Ephesus is a 4 hour journey (with stop offs)
I was going to try it but girls not keen but i am putting my foot down and insisting on Pamulukke (again 4 hrs!)
Kim hired a car and did it in 2.5 hours I think

Ephesus - the drive was a good 3.5 hours, but we didn't hammer it.

I think that Pammukale is more, I've heard somewhere about 5 hours from Bodrum, perhaps the lesser time was from Ephesus?

We are off to this hotel on 15th July, was just wondering if hubby needs to wear long trousers at dinner?

Long trousers were probably the norm for evening meal or three-quarter shorts were acceptable. Any other questions - just ask.

hi ,can anyone advise me if they have booked directly with the hotel and if so how were the transfers, ie was it a minibus or car that picked you up and how long did it take, just getting a bit worried, thanks

ive just had an email re prices for next year and they work out a lot dearer than the package i got, infact the room alone is nearly the same price as the package for 3 of us which i was shocked by, and although my email asked for 08 prices and it clearly states this on his return email ive just noticed its 07 prices so either 08 is going to be the same or dearer i guess
