I have this argument with people all the time it goes like this

comment no it didnt Q how much did it cost

Comment no it didnt..Q how much did they take from your credit card

comment then it didnt cost you a penny it cost £300
reply no it cost a penny the rest were taxes and charges

comment but they are a part of your cost whoever you fly with so should be in the price like most airlines... Q did you look at XYZ airlines ?
A yes but they wanted £280 ours was only a penny

Q. How much were your flights ?
A. £7.50
Q. How much did you pay
A.£22.50
Q. Taxes and charges ?
A. No, three of us

Can anyone help? I have spent the last hour trying to print my boarding passes for my flight to Reus on the 24th May. I will be returning on the Sunday 31st May. I have the boarding pass printed for out going but nothing for the incoming flight. Do I have to wait until less then 15days? This would prove very difficult when we go away again in July for 15 days. Having read that Ryanair will try every trick to get more money our of their customers l am not happy to have to pay further when l have already paid on line booking fees.

You have indeed answered your own question, Ryanair online check-in is available from 15 days up to 4 hours prior to departure.

For your trip in July you may have to find an internet cafe or maybe ask your hotel reception if they are able to do the honours for you.

15 days is far better than they used to offer, I remember a couple of years ago they only offered online check-in from 2 days up to 4 hours before departure

Thank you Mark for reply. Because l am stupid l did not check my details before going to print boarding passes. My Son ,who is 13, was very nervous about the chance we would be split up on the plane. So l added priorty boarding a couple of weeks ago. Paid by the same card has l booked the flight. When l had pressed that button l knew i would not be able to go back, and yes you have guessed it ,it was white. Can anyone tell me if l will be able to add prortiy boarding when l get to Stansted? l have a very nervous young man on my hands.

At the airport priority boarding can be added up to 40 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure time

Have just telephoned Ryanair and they tell me that l cannot add prority booking after l have already checked in. Any advise? Apart from getting a good pair of runnung shows and elbow pads

Hi, I have just heard that from next week you must check-in online with Ryanair. I booked my flights at the end of January and paid for airport check-in. Does anybody know if this still stands or do I now have to check-in online. I am due to fly out of East Midlands on 25th May.

Hi Dumbo ... from 1 May, all new bookings will be required to use online check-in, while airport check in desks are gradually phased out between now and 1 October. After that date, all passengers will need to use online check in. More info in THIS recent post.

To Anna King, when you get to the airport go to the Ryanair Information desk and purchase priority boarding passes.I did this at Prestwick a couple of weeks ago,£4 per person one way.

it is hard when you get conflicting information from the sales team at Ryanair. They were telling me that because l had already printed boarding pass which l have to do because l pressed the button, which was when l realised that my priorty boarding had not gone on , that l would not be able to change this to a priorty seat. When you did yours did you have your ticket in hand? Because l have never flown with Ryanair do they offer children boarding after priority the same has Easyjet? It is funny how something like this can worry my son when he is a big 13year old but he is saying he does not want to go. thank you all for help

Anna, no I didn't have my ticket in hand but had to give my name and destination.I just decided when we got to the airport as my mother and daughter were on the same flight with pre-booked priority boarding so I thought we might as well all go through together and sit together.All they do is write your name and flight number on a small yellow ticket.If it's anything like Prestwick you'll need to keep an eye on the boarding gate and move quickly to get through first as they don't waste anytime between the priority and normal boarding.You'll probably need to knock a few folk out of the road in the process as the queue(certainly at Prestwick) is about 8 people wide.

only people who pay for priority boarding on ryanair get priority boarding.
whether you have kids of any age or not, if you dont pay for priority you join the queue like everone else. they do not do the same as easyjet.

Watched a Ryanair flight boarding at Bristol last Sunday, every bit of hand luggage was being checked for size, rather a lot would not go in the size checker and had to be repacked.
Also firmly enforcing the one bag rule. So even if your bag is nominally the correct size check it is not over packed and becomes too wide.

Over here depending on where you are flying from it shouldn't be too bad, but at Reus it is really bad. A couple of years ago I had the same thing me, hubby and two kids they were about 7 and 8 at the time. We legged it got on and sat in the back row only for the stewards to tell us when practically everyone else had found their seats that kids couldn't sit in the back row. My kids ended up sitting near the front with a family we had got talking to at the airport in the queue to check in and me and hubby were right at the back. Now I have a child who is travel sick and another who is partially deaf. Needless to say I was mightily p***ed off. As it turned out the youngest one with the hearing aids had got a bug and decided to throw up and we landed with her sat on my lap in the back row, she was literally green in the face. (not something the stewards were happy about but I think they realised they shouldn't wind me up anymore and allowed her to sit there for landing)

So please if you have kids don't sit in the back row and be prepared for a run to the plane. The best advice I can give is hold your kids hands and drag them or carry if you can. And head for the back door most try to get to the front.

I've just booked flights to Malaga from EMA for myself and hubby.

However, I obviously wasn't being very attentive ..........my flight details came out as Mrs (my forename and surname) and Dr (hubbys forename and surname).

Problem being he is a 'Mr' and not a 'Dr'!

Do I need to change this (£95 to do so) or will it be okay as his forename and surname on his passport is identical to the one on the Ryanair ticket (without the Dr!)

Any help would be gratefully appreciated - would hate to get to the airport and not be able to fly.

Would also hate a situation whereby someone on the flight may need medical attention and the pilot says over the tannoy that there is a Doctor on Row 8!!!!!

There's more than just medical doctors so I wouldn't worry on that score. Those talented enough to earn themselves a PhD get the Dr title. I wouldn't have thought the title would make a lot of difference as long as the forename and surname match with the passport, but I could be wrong. I would get in touch with the airline for confirmation and your options.
