Boots, in the magazine I read it in, they say its £5.99 but I am told it's been reduced up just under a fiver in your shop! ;-) Might take a trip down there tomorrow and pick one up.

Lancs Lass...

Tried that!

it hurts..... :cry
(delicate little flower me y'know! ;) :rofl )

Have just ordered a bottle of the ingrow go (thanks for the link shell!)hopefully it will work.

Your welcome boots :) A tip I'll give you is to not over use it, I went a bit mad with it when I first used it because my ingrowing hairs were bad, it exfoliates the skin and because I used it too frequent it left my skin with what looked like a graze, it soon went back to normal though and I only use it every other day now. Wish I'd known about it a long time ago.

ndshelton, I would imagine most beauticians would do it. I know mine does it for her clients, not had it done myself but she said more and more people just have the whole front removed these days. I tend to pull my knicks right in when I have mine done so I guess it resembles a landing strip :D

Think you should be the tester for the veet stuff milly molly!

ndshelton, i have brazilian wax all the time the first few times i went to my local beauty salon and i just asked them over the phone and they said they did it, it was fine you can either pull your underwear to the side or take it off, you can be half coverd with a towle whilst the other side is being done, i was a little nervous but it was fine! they then plucked any stray hairs out with tweezers, i went back a few times after my hol to keep it up but after a while decided to just try it myself (especially as i noticed the beautician had missed some bits the last 1 or 2 times and seemed in a bit of a rush) and now i do it myself all the time! you can just experiment each time and see how you like it best.

Ouch!

Just reading your post had my toes curling and me "eeeeeking" at the screen Linzi :haha

You are soooo brave.
(And of course, all you others who inflict the same torture on yourselves.)

I take my hat off to you. :)

I recommended the home waxing kit by veet on the previous page . (veet institute warm wax jar)
Never had a brazilian before and know my sister has hers done at a salon and wouldn't have anything else.
Well, seen as it was so easy and not that painful I thought I'd try one myself and just went for it. :yikes

It's amazing what you can do while watching big brother.
It's been a week now and there's hardly been any re-growth and the bits that I have found I just plucked them out. :really
I usually go and get my underarms waxed but I'm going to try that myself too.
I paid £5.20 for the wax and so far I've saved £15 on a bikini wax and if I do my own underarms that'll be another £8 saved and still have enough left for another 6 or 7 waxing sessions. That's a lot of money to me at the moment. Check out the £1 a day thread for my current financial situation!! :(
Surely that must tempt some of you home wax virgins?

You never know until you give it a go.

Another one I take my hat off to...#

Off to have a look at the other thread >>>>>>

I'm back. :)

Yup, I saw that just after you posted it.
(Replied to it too.)

I know just how you feel hun - I'm in pretty much the same boat. :(
(Did a car bootie this morning and got soaked right through too... :cry )

I'll shut up now before I get told off for going off topic.

Emma, I just can't wax - just can't do it.

I was going to go to Boots today and get the Veet stuff I mentioned earlier up there ^ somewhere,
but after the drenching I got, I was fit for nothing.

I'll go tomorrow and buy some.

You watch - with my luck, it won't be on offer any more.

Milly, did you mean Veet or Nair? I've not used the ultra sensitive Nair you mentioned but the Nair roll on I tried was very good, got every hair and I'm sure the regrowth was slower too.

The Veet warm wax is on ebay for £4.99 plus £2.50 postage but it says it's enough to do both legs twice, is that cheap or am I better off pounding the high street for my vanity pain? :cry :)

I did my bikini line, which then turned into a brazilian as I got wax happy. :rofl
Hardly used any out of the jar. Looking at it I'd say I've still got another 6 or 7 applications left.
I don't wax my legs as I find that too painful. I know what you're all thinking, but I can do a brazilian!! :think
Going to try and wax my underarms tonight :really

Let you all know how it goes.
