Tell me why I don't like Mondays, tell me why I don't like Mondays, tralala Never lost an ounce . My body is a temple of DOOM . I've been as a good as gold all week too. I hate to start off the week feeling so disheartened. I'll settle for losing 13lb but only got 10 weeks left. It's taken me 4 months to lose 11lbs. I have definitely lost inches though in that time because I feel slimmer.
Alsbabay - have yourself a fab holiday and enjoy your Chinese buffet tonight.
Meerkat - have a ball in Cyprus.
Everyone else - keep up the hard work.
Dont be too disheartened, losing it slowly means it will stay off
keep up the good work and continue cheering us all up with your wonderful one liners.
Kazeexx
stressed backwards what new word it makes Uncanny or what

Has anyone ever noticed if you spell Answers on a postcard from your holiday destination please

Where are you all Don't tell me I am the only one not on holiday or is it that you have all done so well this week that you have slimmed down to nothing and don't exist anymore
Hope you are all well where ever you are and keeping up the good work (unless you're on hols then I hope you are all eating and drinking well)
Speak to you soon (I hope)
Hubby gone to Cardiff to watch his beloved West Ham in the Cup Final with his mates. Son at work then off to pub with his mates to watch the match. Youngest son going to our local Social Club with his mate and his dad to watch the match. Daughter going for a bit of retail therapy with her mate then off to the salon to have their nails done ready for their school prom on Tuesday (she supports the Gunners so couldn't care less about the match ) so it looks like it's me and the dog watching the match alone at home with a bottle of vino for company.
I feel totally DESSERTed
Hope you all have a great weekend
Jackie
Jackie I am still here, still spinning, cycling and multi tasking (its what us ladies are good at )
Normal shopping, cleaning and mundane things for me today, due to weather
Hope meerkat and alsbaby are having a fantastic time and not caring about their 'summer diet'.
Have a good weekend all
kazee
ps keep up the good work
I've been reading this thread for a few weeks now and had many a titter at it. Well done to you all.
I know it's been hard, as I too am on the annual starve fest It's taken since January 9th for me to lose a stone and a half )(sorry, don't do kg's)
I've got 2 more pounds to lose to get to my target of 9.7 and only 2 weeks to go, think I'll manage it
Enjoy your hols when they come round. Can't wait for that first full English
Cazz.
First prize goes to Jackie for correct answer Desserts = stressed backwards, thats why we eat so much when we're stressed out.
to Cazz, thats amazing. In that time I've only lost 11lb. Are you going to Flamingo Oasis? That's where I'm planning on for next year. You can tell me all about on your return.
I got weighed at the gym the other day on this machine that tells you all sorts and they gave me a print out. My BMI is 24 which is very good allegedly
I've been eating like a rabbit!
I'll post on the Flamingo Oasis thread when I get back as a few people want to know and it saves PMing everyone
Got the sports bra on standby, salad in the fridge and I'm going to give it a go.
With seven weeks to go, I'm going to try for an average of 2lbs/week. It's a great help reading the mix of exasperation and elation on this thread, and congrats to everyone who's worked so hard!
Here's to the bikinis on the beach!
Love,
Marianne
Good to have you on board Mazzza, good luck with your weight loss and heres to the "babes" in bikinis on the beach No more stranded killer whales.
Remember - she who stuffeth will only puffeth
I did really well all week, going swimming a couple of times and even watching the spinners on their bikes and actually managed to lose a couple of lbs..but then Rob was away all weekend, and me and Gav watched our beloved Liverpool win the FA cup ( what a match!!) and as i couldn't be bothered to cook, had a takeaway and that was it.. all the good work undone..and now i have to start again today living on rabbit food, swimming etc. I need to lose 2 stone but right now would settle for losing a few pounds just to give me that incentive back.
I have to confess that the summer diets not going too well for me at the moment. I don't seem to be able to say no to things I can't have .
The only consolation is that I have been eating much healthier than before and will see if I can get to the gym today (haven't been for about a month) . Still can't give up the booze though. Am going to buy a bottle of vodka and some diet coke and give the wine a miss for a week (well a few days actually as we are off to Dublin on Friday yipeeeeeeeeeeeee) just the girls .
Have a good week everyone.
ValandRob - you're allowed a treat, it keeps you going. I didn't cook yesterday because I was at work till 2pm so we had an indian take away instead.
CarrieBMW - Girl, you need to get you're rear into gear and;
a) get down to nearest off licence for bottle of vodka
b) hit the gym
strictly in that order
Happy Monday everyone
Yer Joolz you are right. I will pick my daughter up from school, pop to the shops and go to the gym.
That's the spirit, and I don't mean the voddy type
Not as bad as it could have been I suppose! I had these really good intentions of swimming up and down the pool - we had a villa - and doing some exercises on the patio on the morning - mad or what: I didn't even put diet coke in my vodka!!!
Mind you I didn't eat as much as I might usually have done and didn't have nearly as much to drink- I seem to have gone off drink since I gave it up for this healthy eating kick.
Did eat lots of salad and other fine things, and enjoyed having bread again, but am quite motivated to get back to good habits now I am back. I feel a bit bloated and need to get back to the gym, but not tonight - I need some sleep!
Loving the quotes here - keep them coming. Great to get back on this thread and catch up with you all again. 7 weeks till next hols so treadmill here I come.
meerkat, if all you have put on on hols is 3lbs then i think you have done remarkably well and should burn it off in no time...glad you enjoyed your hols....
Thanks val - I hope so. It felt really good to wear clothes I haven't had on in ages, and the friend I went with hadn't seen me for a couple of months and thought I looked fantastic!! Slight exaggeration I think, but lovely of her to say so. I felt great - hence being inspired to get back on track and get some more of this weight off...
welcome back Meerkat, hope you haven't got post-holibagz depression. Whats a measly 3lbs, I put that on just looking at a cream cake. Glad you had a great time. Alsbaby seems to be having ball too (read her posting under Majorca).
Just been weighed and I've put 2pound on----- that means I've now got 4pound to lose in two weeks
Thats what I get for bragging the other day.
Why don't I just stop eating!
