I can attempt to go through it on here for you but it's really not the best way to do it as it's not the easiest thing to explain and would be even harder to type it out to explain it! I think that going back to class would be better for you if that's possible, it really is difficult to find the motivation and to stick to plan if you've not got weigh in each week! I stopped going when I took on a second class and really struggled so have just gone back as a member and am finding it so much better.
If that's not an option though let me know and I'll do what I can.

Off to Corfu on 12 June...only way I will get to lose the weight is if I surgically remove a limb!!!
Therefore I am adopting the tactic of enusring hair, skin and nails look good and that I have some nice flattering clothes!! Shall watch what I eat over the next couple of weeks and exercise but realise miracle do not happen!!!!
I'm tempted to join a class. My mum was a consultant for a long time (she retired about 3 years ago) so I'm still following the old plans. Think you're right and that joining another class would be helpful.
There's a voucher for free membership in this week's Bella magazine so that's worth getting if you're looking at joining!
I've gained 3.5 lbs over the last few weeks . Has anyone tried the Dukan diet?
Have also took my measurements - want to get in some exercise to help tone up those 'wobbly bits'

How long before your holiday do you all start dieting/exercising? Weeks or months? I have just booked a holiday for 2nd week of July which only gives me 4 weeks! Is it possible to lose a little/tone up in that short space of time?
Hope so Jingles. I'm going to Majorca for 4 days in 3 weeks time . Lost 17.5 lbs since Christmas but gained about 5 lbs lately. . Can't get into it at all so starting Sunday/Monday it's the Dukan diet. I have just bought the book and it sounds OK. Will let you know.
Well done Irene. I've gained every week for the last 5 weeks . My own fault because I've started drinking wine again. Can't seem to find a drink I enjoy. Anyone got any suggestions please? Preferably low calorie and not water .
Didn't make it to class this week - think I would have maintained.
I use my syns for wine - usually have 1 glass most weekday nights and 2 glasses Fri - Sun. Might sound weird but I have been putting a couple of ice cubes in my white wine - lasts longer!!!!

'can't stop eating/drinking mode'. Just been out to our local Chinese restaurant and had salt and pepper squid (deep fried), yuk shung, crispy duck, scallopes with ginger and spring onion, lemon chicken, chicken in blackbean sauces, special fried rice, 3 glasses of wine and a liqueur coffee . I know this sounds daft but if I do get on the scales and have gained lots I will just give up .
Have you a holiday booked or night out to give you any incentive to lose some weight??
I have set myself a target for middle July - eldest son is 18 and I would like to be a weight I was when I had just given birth????
It is so hard when you get the food/drinking everything in site - I have to be very strict with myself because onece I start I can forget to stop - although I am better now I do SW - can draw a line under a bad day and star afresh the next.

Hi Irene. I've been doing WW since December and only lost 17.5 lbs (my fault really because I'm not really sticking to the points thing). I gave up wine for 3 months and that's when I lost the majority of my weight but slowly I've gone back on wine and slowly the weight is creeping on!! I'm going to Majorca for the weekend with my friend in 3 weeks so this morning I do feel a bit more focused . I would like to lose 10 lbs before then and I am sure it can be done (just not by me ). Sorry did read that you were off to Majorca - having a 'senior' moment.
I tried WW years ago but as a vegetarian couldn't do it thats why SW suits me so much better.
10lbs in 3 weeks is possible I think but 7lbs would be a lot easier????
I am off to a 40th in 3 weeks and am looking at a 7lbs loss - how about you and me having a little '
challenge' I weighed 9stone 11lbs this morning - it would be great to be 9stone 4lbs.
I looked at the Dukan site last night - says my ideal weight is 9stone 2lbs - would be very happy with that.

Hi Irene. OMG I wish I weighed under 10 stone . I was always around the 9st 4lb mark but over the last 4/5 years it has crept up to 13 stone . I have lost 17.5 with WW but I know for a fact I've put at least 5lbs back on. Bought some bathroom scales yesterday. I am going to a barbeque this afternoon, which no doubt will last through to the evening, so I will get weighed in the morning and let you know how much I am and my target for 1st July. (Can't believe I'm going public with my weight ) Let's see if we can do it?! I will make my target 10 lbs . Gail

I have just had a SW Indian meal - although did have 3 mini 'nibbles' and a small piece of naan bread. Used my syns for ome wine.
Tomorrow I am attempting a 14 or 28 mile sponsored cycle - did the 28 last year but have not been out on my bike much lately. Will see how I feel after the first 14 miles route.
Lets weigh in on a Saturday and let each other know how much we have lost?

Just got in after my friends barbeque . Eaten everything in sight . Can we do the weigh-in tomorrow or Monday? If I wait til next Saturday I will be off the scale!!!!!!!!!!! Gail

I have just finished 14 mile sponsored cycle and ate so many sugar laden things to give me energy have now started on the wine and having something that is not SW based to eat later.
