I've never been the one to diet, being only 5ft1 and about 8stone 5ish, but since giving birth I have got a belly, and can not get rid of it. sit ups don't work, and I walk everywhere as I don't drive.
Any tips and get rid of sagging skin/massive belly.
Tucked away on a time-wasters site, I found
I have found Zumba and a little pilates help lose the tummy. My tummy isn't flat but it isn't as big as it was. There is an exercise called the plank that can help as it works on the core muscles. I tried it and it hurt and so I gave up.
thank you.
I'm sat here with 50 mls of dry martin topped up with diet tonic pretending it's a nice cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
like your style pargaluvva ....I STS this week so still 2.5lb off goal !!! I think i am going to have to up the walking and down the drinking but at least its still going in the right direction.... good luck everyone for the next week
maintained this week, well its been 2 weeks really as i have just returned
Lost 1.5 lbs this week, so very happy . If I can lose another 2lb for next Tuesday that will be 8lbs off. Only another 2 stone to go .
Next WI will be in 2012.
I'm back in the gym and cutting down on portions, so the regime starts NOW!
2.5 stones is my target loss.so we'll see how I get on.
It's all fluid thats come off but I'm feeling a lot better now I'm under the dreaded 18.
It's hard graft on the rowing machine but worth the result.
At weigh in at SW today I had put on 2lbs over the 2 week Christmas period so it's back to business.Better stock up on the packets of Mugshots especially the roast chicken and minestrone varieties. Anybody else like these? Most are either free or up to 1 syn and lovely and hot and very filling.
hbrac - 2llb gain is not too bad and I am sure you will get that off very soon. I didn't get to WI on Tuesday as we had visitors.
I like the Sweet n' Sour Mugshots, Home and Bargain sell them for about 35p each.
Got a lovely cooking book for Christmas and I can adapt lots of recipes to SW - so before I go back to work on Tuesday I will be making lots of soups for lunches - my favourite at the moment is Carrot and Lentil.
Another 3lbs off yesterday and down to 17st 9lbs. It's almost all fluid that's coming off, well brandy anyway. My ankles are still showing signs of fluid, so if I can get a tap on my toe, I'll be OK.
Blisters on my hands andd backside from the rowing machine, but a days recovery today then back to the gym on Saturday.
As I said, it's a regime. When I get down to 16 st. I'll be happy, but currently in with the grumpies.
I went to another SW class this morning (new book out for 2012 so had to WI).
Gained 2lb siince I last weighed in 10 days ago - expected it and have enjoyed myself so can accept it.
Have a good New Year everyone - enjoy. 2012 is a new year and new start as far as SW is concerned.
It's back on Slimming World for me as of tomorrow, I'm going to enjoy my New Years Eve Indian takeaway tonight though
Happy New Year everyone!
Got Wi-fit for Chrsitmas but not had time to get it out yet.
Like Irene I am waiting until all the 'rubbish' food is eaten before I start properly on plan. Didn't buy many sweets and chocolates but I have eaten far too much bread, plus butter, which I don't normally eat. Plus I have kept at least one wineary in business with the amount I drank over the last 10 days. Our daughter got engaged so it would have been rude not to toast the happy couple!!
maureen -with a new baby and an engagement in the family, there's been a lot of champers and goodness knows what else consumed here too. I'll be back in work on Monday, so there will be more planning of meals. I'll cut back for a week or two and then seriously think about things until my Easter holiday. Once I come back from there, it'll be sensible eating until the summer holiday. I would never be able to kep a diet going from now until the summer - to be honest I wouldn't want to - there's more to life than being thin
