LOL
It is just while each aircraft is going in the hanger for it's reconfig, these take 2/3 days, so during the last few days of April, the 3 planes will each be in the hanger, when they come out before Summer officially starts (MAy 1st) they will be needed for the last of the winter flights!
You can't simply put the 3 of them in to be reconfig on last day of April to be done for 1st May!!
i asked if the flight tcx 718k / L from gatwick to dalaman at 8.25am on 31st may 2010 is correct as it used to be a bodrum sector yet on the gatwick summer flight plans only the 10.40 tcx 448k/L is showing ?
has this flight ( tcx718k/L yet to be changed and added as now flying to dalaman ?
please see my earlier two posts.
also where can i find pictures of inside the cabin ?
thanks in advance
gregg
It has always historically been a "bodrum" flight no., looks like it has changed for this summer to DLM....ignore the LGW website, TC will have correct info.
thankyou in advance woodward
It's common practice for tour operators to offer holidays with flights on other airlines than their own. Thomas Cook use Thomson Airways and vice versa to some destinations on certain days. EMA-JSI-EMA (TCX181K/L) are operated by a Boeing 757-200.
Darren

caroline davis,
Thank you Darren.
We are going on our honeymoon to Cancun from LGW flying out on 31st August 2010, returning on 14th September 2010.
I am very anxious about how much leg room we will get as my fiance is 6ft2 and I dont want him to be cramped for the entire flight.
I have looked at upgrading to Premium, but Thomas Cook wont book it for me (as apparently my contract is with my agent) and my agent cant book it as the seats are showing up as unavailable. However, I know there are are seats left because I have been told there are by Thomas Cook.
So my questions are:
a) how much legroom will we have
b) has anyone else had the same problem as me when trying to book Premium?
Thank you in advance!
sheenangel, ask the agent to ring-you can't book online for some reason, this might be why your agent saysthey cant book it, hope this helps although it sound a bit obvious so i am sorry if im being a bit thick!!!!
On another note - is it worth booking Premium or should I just book exit seats (which I can book online)?
Unless I would have enough legroom in economy?
any chance you know what aircraft will be doing tcx46k yet? or shall i ask again tomorrow? cant wait!!!
claire
LGW-CUN-LGW are operated by an Airbus A330-200. You'll find lots of aircraft information listed on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seat pitch is 33" in economy. Most people find this more than enough but for someone who's over 6ft, I'm sure they'd appreciate more room for an 11 hour flight. If you haven't booked directly with Thomas Cook or one of their sister companies, everything has to go via the agent you booked with. As you've been told, your booking is with the agent rather than Thomas Cook. If all you want is extra legroom, it might be worth enquiring about extra legroom seats that are not only cheaper, but give you more room as well. These are located by exits. Premium only gives you an extra 2" of seat pitch, which isn't really all that much and is quite expensive if you don't want everything that goes with the premium cabin.

As posted previously, we won't know the aircraft operating a specific flight until the day before as they change regularly. G-OMYT, G-MLJL and G-OJMB are in MAN at the moment.
