JL-LIV,
Welcome onboard
I went to Kenya in March, it's a wonderful place. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. You're going back a bit with the VC-10!! The African sunset from 35,000ft is a stunning site so A/B are you seats to see it. I was lucky enough to view it while overflying Ethiopia as we were heading in to Kenyan airspace onbaord an Air Mauritius A340-300 in Spet 2007, it's a stunning sight:
The seating plan for the 315 seat Boeing 767-304/ER is no longer valid. That's the old seating plan for the premium equiped aircraft used on long haul flights up to the end of April 2008. Since then, the cabins have had a refit with less seats to create greater seat pitch (33" compared to 30") in economy. There isn't a seating plan available at the moment for the long haul aircraft and the one I have I can't post here for copyright reasons. Your flights are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find more information, photos and my trip reports for other long haul flights on our
What Aircraft? thread. These aircraft have 258 seats just to confuse things; 63 premium and 195 economy configured 2-3-2 throughout. Rows 1-9 and premium seats (located in the forward cabin) and the last row in premium doesn't have a window so best to avoid that if you can. Economy seats are located in the centre and rear cabin. The aircraft to vary slightly due to their origins, bt there's no window at approx row 14. I've travelled on all but one of their aircraft if you have any further questions about them.
