I would like to have Gerberas in my bouquet so I enquired with the company I'm using if they have these flowers in Cyprus, and they do (phew!) - They said to me to send them a picture of the kind of bouquet I would like and they will try match and let me know if possible to match - therefore I have just been searching the web and also going to florists/garden centres with my camera.
Still haven't found the perfect one yet, but have 8 months to do so.... (so hopefully)
Prehaps this is something you could suggest or ask if they could do this for you.

Hi Furball if you check the website it does say flowers of your choice.Only the Platinium and diomond say this.Are you doing the cruise to Egypt or weekend resort in the mountains.I did want the weekend in Rhodes its not advertised on the website but they can arrange it for you.The reason i cant go to Rhodes is because they stop sailing in October,so am off to the mountains instead.

Solicitors keep telling us a stamp and signature is all they often do, several times a week for cyprus, but the travel company sorting our wedding are adamant it has to be on solicitor headed paper. we are getting married in protaras, so wondered what you did, seeing as you only recently got married.

hi ive checked the platinum package and it says lily and rose bouquet and either trip to egypt or mountains no mention of rhodes. unless im looking at an old package, when do u get married??
Hi Furball it says it on there website under Platnuim package i quote [your free choice of flowers].No the cruise is not advertised on the website but i asked as i did not want to go to Egypt.At the end of the day i feel even though i have paid for the that package i can change it around a bit as it will probably cost the same price for the same trip.As its my wedding i feel that i should be allowed to make some choices as to want i want and they are my wedding planner and thats what am paying them to do.they have been fine about this.

hi i agree with the fact its your wedding and you should have the free choice for certain things. at the end of the day i have paid alot of money out so you want it how you want it.

hi just checked, and your right free choice of flowers for some reason i had in my emails from cdw lilyand rose, ive emaied cdw to say am having free choice....what yet i dont know am struggling on this. any help regarding flowers to match a gold bridesmaid dress would be great!!!!!

Hi furball am glad you checked the site but do changed a few things if thats what you want i did.As for the Egypt trip really dont fancy it so off to the Troodos mountains not got much info on it but they are advertising a Hotel in that area on there site weather thats it i dont know.But much rather have gone to Rhodes but we get married to late in the year and they will have stop sailing.
The bridesmaid have you thought about yellow,lemon or even cream.
Flowers i like lilles but not really sure am gonna wait till in resort and pop down to the local florist hopefully the one cdw use and ive really good look around and do like gerbras but am sure there will be more choice when i get there.

where abouts are you getting married? we've been told you need to take with you an affidavit and your full birth certificates. (see previous posts re the affidavit). we are getting married at the Nissi Beach hotel on 9th August!!

HiFurball up to now there has been no mention of flowers and not really much about the cake am like you fly out and get married exactly a week.Am meeting up with the planner the day after i get in resort so ive already discuss this allready and was told that the will be running through preperation and any request i have or things i want changing they said they would do there up most best. They have also contacted my reception venue like i asked them as the mangers english is hard to understand just to confirm he had my booking.I have to admit they have been great up to now lets hope it stays that way.

hi tracy, we went to paphos in june and i met up with one of the wedding coordinators he was lovely, and took us to the church and reception , it was great to see where we will be getting married. photos do it no justice!!!!

Hi Christine lucky you going out to paphos to see were your getting married i do believe you are right that photos do places like this no justice.We marry at Ayia Kiariaka catholic church Reception at Vardas in Coral Bay.There are 20 of us flying out and we are all stopping at the Louis Pheaton Hotel.
hi, thats where i am getting married aiya kyriaki chuch, it is lovely absolutly beutiful inside! Lakis the wed coordinator was great and showed us round. I am having my reception at the atlantida beach restaurant, and we have got about 35 people coming over including children. i'm staying at the rui cypria bay which looked very nice has we drove past. you wont be disappointed with the church it is lovely and nice a nd cool inside.

I dont think 30 + will be the final number has people are adding every month, i cant believe we booked it in january and its september already.
Our wed co-ordinator is Georgia, but she was unavailable when we went to paphos in june so Lakis met us and he was great, very nice man, nothing too much to ask.
We booked the reception with them, only thing we have done ourselves is book the hotel for ourselves with thomas cook.
It is great to talk to someone else getting married with cyprus dream weddings, cos at the end of the day we just went off the internet, but i can highly recommend them so far.

I couldn't wait to start trying them on, we get married in May 07 and bought mine last Saturday, I was soo excited
. I took my mum, future mum in law and two bridesmaids it was great.
I couldn't decide either, in the end I have gone for straight, but not plain.
I love it, only trouble is I have to wait til next year to try it on, as it is only due in the shop early April. I shall just have to be patient!
