hi there, we got married in zante four years ago and we booked our holiday independantly then booked our wedding through argo. they were brilliant and sorted everything out they came to see us twice during our first week for 30 minutes max to ask what flowers, transport and number of guests we wanted and gave us their phone number for emergencies!! the day itself was fab. they do a few venues in cyprus so it might be worth getting the brochure the telephone number for the brochure can be found in the first few pages of the argo holiday brochure.

http://www.medwedsltd.com they were fantastic. hope you get sorted.
hi we got married in paphos last year, we used I've seen so many inconsistencies with regards to wedding venues when browsing the internet - some say residents only, some say 20+ guests minimum, etc.
We want to stay in Protatars (due to family) but would like to marry at a venue in Nissi Bay, preferably Nissi Beach Hotel or Adams Beach.
Has anyone done this?
Any suggestions as to the best way to do this? IE e-mails, etc?
Kelly
Unfortunately, Nissi Beach and Adams Beach wedding venues are for residents only. Adams Beach are fully booked until October 2008. There are a couple of hotels in Ayia Napa, Nissi Bay area that do cater for both residents and non residents.
Capo Bay, Sunrise Beach an Golden Coast (all in Protaras) have beautiful venues and do allow non residents, are they an option?
I have lots of pictures and information on the above and a list of all the hotels that do allow non residents, if you PM me your email I will happily send it over for you.

Hi Karen
We got married at the Nissi Beach Hotel in May, we stayed at the hotel and organised the whole wedding through the wedding manager, Marios who was very helpful. The hotel has details of the wedding services they provde on their website and when we booked it was possible to have your wedding at the hotel even if you were not resident there, you just have to pay a fee for using the hotel grounds. We had a wonderful wedding at Nissi Beach, if you need any futher info or pictures then let me know.
Unfortunately as of 2008 Nissi Beach will not be excepting non residents for weddings at the hotel. The only time they will consider non residents is out of season when there's not many people there.
Lots of things are changing in 2008 with most of the hotels!
Feel free to contact me if you need any help

Please would you tell us which hotel is your favourite for weddings and why. I am having a real hard time trying to decide, I have already been doing research for the past year. I definately want to get married in the Ayia Napa/Protarus area. Please help!!
Thanks
Janine xx
Its a fantastic location (not too close to Ayia Napa centre) set on the famous Nissi beach
The wedding venue is situated amongst their tropical gardens overlooking the sea, its the most picturesque venue there is on this side of the island.
If I were to get married again (or should I say, renew my vows) this would be my ideal venue!

There are soooo many beautifull hotels around the Island & it is very hard to decide which would be the overall winner on various points, but I would have to agree with Kerry, after visiting the Hotel on many occassions & having a good look round the place it is absolutely fantastic this coupled with a very good Management & staff
Anyone on here married with the Airtours package?
I haven't posted on here since probably end of August, so I do apologise for this being late!
We got married last month (sept) at the Cavo Maris Beach Hotel in Protaras, and it was the most perfect, happy, fantastic, romantic day of my life!
Everything about my wedding was lovely, the location was brilliant. It was under a wooden gazebo surrounded by lovely palm trees looking out to the sea, and it was all decorated too - just perfect. They also supplied us with a wedding cake, free of charge and also a bottle of local champagne and a few canapes - all we had to do was top them up abit so it all went round.
Our wedding was at 4:30pm which again, was perfect, it wasn't too hot and looked great for the photo's too. So in the morning, we were all lazying by the pool soaking up the sun and just relaxing without a care in the world. Then about 3pm I had a hair dresser come to my room to do my hair, and oh my god, she done a brilliant job on it! It stayed put all day! That was also cheaper than I thought too, only £30 cyp.
The photographer was excellent, made us feel very relaxed too. and the photo's well, they were just lovely! We bought the copyright, photo's on disc, all the photo's in a small album, and 30 bigger pictures in a larger album - all that for £400cyp which was Fantastic!
I have no regrets getting married abroad, and am really pleased we done it at the Cavo Maris. The staff are lovely, in our second week after the wedding, we hardly paid for drinks hehe and loads of other holiday makers were coming up with a bottle of drink for us to say congrats! Good job I had my children, otherwise I'd have been drunk all the time hehe.
The first week of the holiday was mainly taken up with appointments at the town hall, the hairdresser, the public relations lady and the co-ordinator, but they booked them for after breakfast leaving us to enjoy the rest of the day.
My photo's are here if you want a peek: http://leannetanner.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album01
Thanks for reading, and I wish you all the best for your wedding in Cyprus, you will not be disappointed!
Hi jamies mum your pictures are lovely glad you had a lovely time. I noticed you had children with you my daughter is getting married at sunrise beach in oct 08 her boys will be 5 and 12 months were the children ok travelling and food wise in cyprus did they have a good time
thank you!
Yeh my boys are 6 & 16mths, and they were really good. Although my youngest wouldn't keep still for the photos', but we still got some nice ones of him.
food wise, now there's nothing my youngest WON'T eat, so we are really lucky there but even my fussy 6yr ate well out there. There was quite a range of food, from cypriot to english, and he even tried something that I didn't think he would and he loved them and that was Kalamari rings, my youngest went mad over them too!
Travelling wise on the plane - going out it was quite good, youngest slept for most of the way and I sat by the window with him so that he had something to look at. On the way home it was different, he was a nightmare BUT only because we had a delay on the plane waiting for a pasenger. Apart from that, everything was fine with the kids.
The staff at the hotel absolutely loved the kids, they got stuff given to them all the time!
Hi, Im looking to get married in Paphos in 2009, and I was after any feed back on 'The Paphos Wedding Comapny' they look really good and their prices look fair. Yet I would like some first hand feed back on their services. If anyone has used them I would be very grateful on their opinion.
Sally from the Wedding Co is very good, have worked with her in conjunction with the scottish weddings. She is one of a few that I recommend as doing a very good & thorough job of making your day special
hope this helps
