i am getting married in paphos at the Yeroskipou town hall in september
has anyone got married there what is it like?
also we are having our reception at the sunset beach restaurant
has anyone been there?can you tell me what its like?
after looking at many wedding companies we chose to go with Cyprus Dream Weddings
everything has gone really well with them so far they have been really helpfull and we get answers very quickly after we have asked them!
also my nan wont be able to make the wedding as she doesnt want to fly and we thought it would be nice to take the dvd home for her to see
does anyone know any companies and how much this would cost? we have already sorted out our photographs so that wouldnt be needed
many thanks
Yereskipou is lovely you will really enjoy the ceremony, you will also be facing the guests when you have the ceremony
Sunset Beach (Ill Vasalima) is a nice taverna on the beach next door the the Alexander the Great, been there a couple of times to have a drink but not eaten there as yet
With rgard to the DVD I don't think you can have 1 photographer & use a Videographer from a different company, I think you would be looking at approx around CYP220 / EURO 375.89

Any suggestions on where we can get a wedding cake, flowers, entertainment for the reception (Golden Coast) wedding cars etc.
We can't cancel the wedding planner without losing the date that's been confirmed and paying for an additional Thanks in advance!
Lovely Hotel been there many times, to the right the ceremony is held there but you can also have the little chapel situated to the left which is secluded & is a beautiful quadrant
Call Maria who is the Hotel Planner, very nice & pleasent she will guide you

yeah i saw that we face the guests which i wasnt to sure about as when i get nervous i get the giggles!!! and facing my 6 best friends isnt going to help! but we were originaly going with paphos town hall but they couldnt garentee us the bigger room ( the one with the marble flooring) and we really didnt like the look of the smaller room so we had to change and as my manager at work had only just got married at payia town hall we went for Yereskipou
you said you have had drinks at sunset. what are the prices like? as we want to put money behind the bar so that are guests dont have to pay for their drinks.
also i have only ever been to cyprus in may (going again this may cant wait) whats the weather like in cyprus? we chose to get married at 1pm and im worrying its going to be really hot!!
If your getting married in May then the weather will be hot around the 70's / 80's mark. Drinks cost will vary of course but they probably be around CYP2.50 /Euro 4.27 a pint that was last year. I am going to take some photo's of the place in the next week so I wil find out the prices for you.
Yereskipou is well sheltered so you should be Ok, then you will go the the reception & you will have that breeze from the sea
All the best

Hi Carolh
we are getting married in Saint Pauls Pillar on June 27th and just wanted to say hello . We are pretty much sorted now just counting the days. We are having our reception/ meal in Romanticas Restaurant. Are there any other Ayia Kyriaki Brides , if so how are your plans coming along ? Forgot to say we are also having a civil ceremony in Yeroskipoui on 25th June , just my husband to be and our 3 year old attending.

Hi nanamaria
please let me know how it goes! im counting the days and we still have 6 months to go!!!
Looking forward to our service in Yeroskipoui as it will just be myself my husband to be and our 3 year old , there will be 30 of us in St Pauls Pillar . Yeroskipoui looks a beautiful venue , my brother in law to be and his wife got married 3 years ago in Paphos same 2 venues as ourselves their photos were gorgeous. They went on their own and are now coming back to Paphos with us to celebrate our wedding.
Do you have many coming to your wedding?
Kev, at least I will know you if I happen to come across you in Paphos or are you hanging up the bagpipes ?

Hi everyone, I am getting married in the grounds of the Holiday Village Aliathon Aug this year, and i was wondering if anyone can help. As I am travelling with First Choice I have been told that I will meet my wedding coordinator when I arrive to sort out the arrangements for the actual wedding day etc, so at this point I still don't know exactly what i can have regards to the spot where I get married (as I don't want to get married in the chapel they have) or as to the the reception itself and where it is held. It is not until i have found this site that I realise i can choose an independent wedding coordinator, I thought it was only for weddings that are taking place in town halls etc. now I am worrying that if I leave things that late will I be able to have what I want. Has anyone dealt with Fc wedding coordinators and did you leave it until you arrived on your holiday? Or had i better start looking for an independent wedding coordinator
not to sure how i feel about facing them while we say our vows! but im sure it will be fine.
we were looking at getting married in paphos town hall, but we realised there is two rooms, one room very nice with marble flooring and big windows, the other one some pokey room with really bad decor and they couldnt garentee us the nice room so we had to change as i knew it would completly ruin the day if we did get the small one!
You will be fine facing your guests as you will only see your other half while saying your vows and so what if you get the giggles it is a happy occasion after all my fear will be starting to cry as I have found myself weepy at weddings before at least I know they will be tears of joy. I think you have made the better choice with the outdoor venue as any photots I have seen are just beautiful.

Williams did you want a catholic wedding. If you have paid a deposit with first choice can you cancel and get your money back. When we started looking into getting married in Cyprus my thoughts were like your to get married on site but, when i spoke to the first choice wedding co-ordinators i found that there was very little information with regards to the plans thats when i decided to go else where.
are reaception is at the Ill Vasalima but on our wedding website its called the sunset beach restuarant, its just by the alexander the great hotel. how about yours? the only time i think i will cry is when i first see my dad when im ready to go to the ceremony!
yeah i bought my dress in september! didnt mean to was only ment to be looking round for ideas but i fell in love! my final fitting is august.Bridemaids dresses are all done aswell. all we need to do is buy the mens suits, we found some we like but as were looking for summer suits the guy in the shop told us to go back in may when they get all the summer stock in
