As I mentioned in an earlier post Annapurna Bar in candolim would be a suitable venue, there is a seperate area upstairs which is rarely open but there is also plenty of room on the ground floor, the drinks are reasonably priced and they do do reasonable food for those who want, plus there are plenty of other bars aroung for those who fancy moving on later. But as I said I'm happy to go with any other suggestions!!!!

No ding-dong and I wouldn't say rude... maybe a few beers too many !! just a good laugh. The 2 we are talking about... 1 was with me the other... anyway they aren't HT members and the build up to our 1st meeting went all day wondering what we would get up to, and a lot of micky-taking about secret handshakes etc.. as I said a great night and nice to put names to faces, don't think there was any harm done and can't wait for the next one

hi all i think the place johnny g said sounds good annapurna bar good location right on the main road so easy to find with lots of room also it is good that it sells food as the meets start at 730 onwards and we found that if we went elswhere to eat first by the time you had your meal it was to late to go to make our way to the lazy days so what we decided to do was get to lazys days early and have food there and wait for others to come later just a thought Elaine&Toe

When there is a decision- could someone start a new thread with the days and places prominent please. I will then lock this one and we can start afresh.

why not just leave it as it was last season??

The reason for a suggested change was due to the limited space available at lazy days plus the often noisy karioque (never could spell Japanese!), also the fact that a lot of members seemed to be from the Candolim area although travel isn't really an issue! I for one would be happy staying with the original venue but I did also suggest Annapurna Bar (opposite Original Fakes) in Candolim if an alternative venue was being sought, it does have the capacity, is fairly quiet, the food is good if required, drinks are reasonable and there are plenty of late places to move onto if desired. It's also my local Ha! I tend to be there most nights from approx 7.30 onwards or at least until the Tom Collins cocktails take hold!

Hi Guys

The original reason we chose Lazydays is that it was recomended by Rob of CWT as he knew the owner Adolph. Last year most of the meet-ups went well except for the noice sometimes from CSM. If each season people want to change the venue after a while it could be confusing. I am not against a change just not sure if its nessasary.
