Just got back from Goa after being there for 9 weeks. Went to HT meetings a few times and meant to go the last couple of weeks we were there, but the time just flew and we were on our way home!! Sorry Rob, keep the postings coming and hope to see you next year! Lazy days is lovely. They make you very welcome. Food is good! Service good! Adolf is gorgeous

It is just a few quiet drinks where we swop gossip and reccomendations regarding trips shacks, restaurants.
You usually end up paying for your own drinks.
Just a nice way to spend a night and put faces to names.
If you get bored you can always nip over to CSM for the Karooke.

Rob, got home wednesday and off to Dr's with man flu on saturday. Antibiotics etc. I now know how you felt.

Yes and no,
Good to see the kids and cat and boat, but it is b****y cold.

You're more than welcome to bring things to the 'meets', even if we don't make it then Adolf (the owner of Lazy's) will look after it for us. But we try and make it every week anyway... Good chance for a gossip anyway, and to discover the secrets behind screen names 'billy bluenose'????

It is comeing to the end of the season and for the last 8 weeks no one has mentioned the meet-ups, has everyone given up on them or do they not give a report.
If we let the meet-ups die it would be a sad loss as it was a good place to find out things and maybe hook up with someone if you were there on your own.
Give your views on the meet-ups should we keep them or forget them.

Keep them - myself and others who have just returned have mentioned Lazydays in our reports,seems this thread keeps droping off the 1st page,so should be looked at to be made a sticky ?

Shermina and I missed last week, but will hopefully make it again this week... Some of the regulars have returned home, like the fabulous Lin B, unfortunately Ambert doesn't make it (he's always working), he's also hopefully going to start on some of our kids next week - we have a big list of fillings and extractions.... So I think after they've been the Mango house will be empty as they will not be talking to us anymore

So if anyone is here we'll try and make it on Wednesday....

i agree. I went along with spike and our good ladies and it was a fun night putting faces to names. Johnny G, Kay135,Linb,feelthevibe,catweasle,martin d,rob and shermina and a few others that escape me. keep the meets,i will be back next year !

I agree keep the meets we only managed one but really enjoyed meeting Rob, Shemina her parents and the rest of the great people. Sorry Rob and Shemina we didn't make the Mango House - ran out of time - but would like to catch up next time.

We're hoping to make the meets (next season), although now having kids at the house it's VERY busy and time consuming, we'll have to see, I'll at least be there in spirit. If you do bring things over then Adolf will always keep hold of them for me (He's a nice bloke), I guess we're having the meets at the same location (it's a nice location). A Buggy would be fine, but anyone reading this (please don't bring) as we don't want a hundred of them!!! :lol:
